The material is nice and soft
I went accordingly to the chart to get the right size, I was expecting more of a looser fit, and instead found that the cut of the boxers have them fairly tight fitting to your body shape, and I am an more of a muscular athletic build, so it I was not overly impressed when I found they are tight fitting. The material is nice and soft, which I was very happy about, and the waist band is really nice exactly what you'd expect and comfortable. The flap in the front also didn't have me overly impressed as it is layered over itself from the side to just open, but there is no button to secure it closed, which didn't give me peace of mind. The one's I got have two pair which are identical which doesn't bother me, I just wished I'd known more about how tight they'd fit me, as I couldn't squat down to pick something up without knowing I'd rip my boxers without a question. I wondered if the next size bigger would have been any better, but looking at the way they are cut I realized they are not the loose fitting style I have always always known and enjoyed. If you wear tight fitting pants than these would be the boxers for you.

Looks nice but, not an excellent fit.
I bought these for my fiancé and bought the correct size according to the chart listed on the product page. The reviews were all over the place when discussing size, but I decided to go ahead and order them because most of the reviews stated that they were true to size. My fiancé has found that they fit very well in the waist, but are tight around the thighs. I imagine that once he wears them in a little bit they will start to feel perfect, but until then, they remain a little tight. I took a gamble with these because many reviews had said they ordered the 4 pack thinking they would get at least something similar to what was pictured on Amazon, only to receive four camouflage colored boxers. Luckily, we did not receive any camouflage boxers. There were 3 blue ones with little designs, nothing too loud and one red plaid pair.Would I buy these again? Probably not because I’m sure he’d rather have something that fits well from the get-go and these do not. The next size up would have been too large around the waist; however they look nice in style and they’re very lightweight.

Comfortable, roomy boxers
I was a bit concerned about trying these because of reports of the dual seams in the back being irritating. They are just fine. I don't notice the seams at all, and I'm one who is usually very irritated by seams and tags in clothing. (These have no tags either). The colors I got were mostly dark and subdued, pretty much as pictured, again just fine with me.Sizing seems generous. I'm a bit overweight; I wear XXL shorts and T-shirts, and have trouble buckling my size 42 Levis 550's right out of the dryer. However, the XL size in these Hands cotton boxers fit me and are roomy and comfortable, even after several washings. The waistband elastic seems weak, but so far it holds without binding or leaving marks on my skin. Perhaps they minimized the elastic force for comfort. Hope it holds up over time going through hot dryers.Try out a pack like I did. I went back and bought several more packs. Note that there's a 4-pack and a 5-pack. The 5-pack is cheaper per item. (I bought the 4-pack first to minimize my risk, but went back and bought a couple of 5-packs after that.)

comfy cozy
I usually buy Jockey brand boxers but decided to go with Hanes because of the much lower price. They are both 100% cotton and the only difference is that the Jockeys have a single button on the front flap. However, when it comes to pricing, there is a huge difference. I paid only $17.06 for a 4-pack from NY Lingerie. Amazon is currently selling a single pair of Jockeys for $13.50 although you can get a 2-pack from the Jockey website for $24.00. For a single pair it comes down to $4.26 for Hanes versus $12.00 for Jockey. Talk about a no brainer. The clincher is the fit and comfort. The Hanes tagless waistband is the most comfortable I have experienced. These boxers fit so well that I honestly can't tell I'm wearing them. They don't ride up on you or tug at all. Shortly after I received my original order, I was so impressed that I ordered 2 more 4-packs. Forgot to mention these come in an assortment of 4 different nice looking patterns. Shame on you Jockey for charging so much more because of a silly little button.

Not comfortable
Bought these in both small and medium sizes,... wish I hadn't. I don't like the material, which seems a bit stiff and is somewhat rough feeling against the skin. Small was a bit too tight, and medium a bit too large for my 32 inch waist. They are generously cut, and have withstood multiple washings,... but just aren't comfortable for me.

Not the same
The Hane's boxer's in the picture were not the same boxers I received. The waistbands and colors were different than the picture listed! I own a pair of Hane's boxers like the one's in the picture that the seller listed (that's why I bought them). Instead I received poor quality uncomfortable boxers ! These could be knock-off Hane's boxers, beware !!!

Five for four
I ordered the large size (I'm 36" waist).Nice and bright, 100% cotton. I like them. Switched over from briefs to boxers and chose these Hanes.Very natural feel to them and, the no slit opening keeps you tucked safely inside them should you be wandering around your house wearing only your boxers. You might have to fuss a little if you're donning your form fitting pants as they do tend to ruffle easily but, overall, they fit well and leave you feeling "ventilated".Summary, for the price and the extra set, well worth the money. I'm pleased with my purchase and they fit as I'd expect.
