Worked well, I’ve had this type roller previously and these are just what I expected

They were exactly what I was looking for.

As self griping rollers go, these work well and reliably. They are approximately 1 1/4" round. I have shorter hair, so they worked well. If you have thicker, longer hair, a larger round would probably work better unless you purchase more of these. I use them every once in a while for a little different look and more body. I don't recommend you sleep in them - they are prickly. But I put a scarf on and wear them all day. Works for me. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I also refuse to 'change' my review for a refund of a product I have given a poor review - and that is offered from time to time. It's a shame they phased this rating system out because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,200 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including well over 26,000 likes. BOTTOM LINE: I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

These rollers are easy to use (as soon as you get the hang of the Clips!) and hair dries VERY quickly in them. My only complaint is the very long, "bristle-y" bristles. It's near impossible to get your hair out/off of them without substantial breakage. (of your hair.) SO.... I had my husband use his Beard Trimmer to shave them down by 3/4. Voila!! MUCH more comfortable, and no more hair breaking off trying to unwind them when dry.

The curlers are exactly as described on the website. Very pleased with them.

Do the trick for me! I have never bought any other rollers so I can’t exactly compare them to anything else but they do the trick for me.

I bought to use to curl my hair while drying when out of country so I would not have to carry a curling iron. I had a difficult time keeping them from falling out. Thicker hair might have worked better. So not sure if the velcro was inadequate or just my thin hair.
