I mixed this 1 cup per 6 gallons of water and you could see the weeds dying by the next mooring. This is a great product if you spray. Leaves you with great appearing results.

Does what it's supposed to

The spectracide weed killer concentrate is quite effective. This season, for some odd reason had helped in growth of crab grass extensively, so in no time crab grass flourished all over the neighborhood. I had used this product several times since last year and it was keeping weeds from over growing, but then all of a sudden since my last treatment, the growth of crab grass occurred, and I think because a day or two after its use, rains came and washed it away, or probably saturated its effects. I usually use a spray with my water hose and spray on, it's easy and quick. But I may be wrong but do not have the time or energy to spray with a bottle.

Works well, follow the instructions. For me 3.2 oz a gal works for some weeds. It can take 10 to 14 days to completly kill some weeds.

I still have my dad's vintage glass bottle from the 1950s to dilute the concentrate. This product has been effective with near total weed eradication after only three years at a new residence. It was a 'weedy' nightmare to begin. Thank you!

I can't tell you whether it works or not yet, but the dilution instructions are ridiculously complex. Requires you to know exactly what weeds you have, and your lawn type. You have to be both a botanist and a chemist to get it right. In the end, it's much easier to use a pre-mixed solution than this. I wish I hadn't bought this.

$60 is hefty money but the product really lasts. I bought the 6 pack and I've got almost an acre of land to cover. Half a bottle took care of one treatment and the other half will handle the second one. I will only need 2 per year, so that means I've got a supply for 3 more years. Under those conditions, that $60 goes a long way assuming the product doesn't expire. I've heaped praises on the effectiveness of this brand on the spray bottle page and there are no changes here. I love how well it works. I have never seen results in "hours," but surely within days of application. I just reuse the same sprayer from last year over and over again, refilling with these bottles. A couple days later, I'm seeing yellowed weeds and, in some cases, dead ones shriveled up. I'm loyal to this brand. These guys rock. Best, A.

Never understood why people spend so much money on those pre-mixed weed killers like Round Up other than the fact that most people are lazy but if you do the math you can save TONS doing it yourself with this stuff. It work well my only grip (and the one star knock down) is that going by their directions I often find that the concentration isn't enough, or takes too long to kill the weeds. Sometimes I have to apply it a second time two weeks later to really get them. But not a big deal if you just double the amounts perhaps. At 2 tablespoons/gallon you can use this stuff for years on normal weed application and houses. Takes a little extra effort but can probably save yourself hundreds of dollars getting this and mixing it yourself.
