Works fine with jacuzzi pump.
Use it with the jacuzzi whose pneumatic switch is stuck in the ON position to avoid tearing the tile off to replace the pneumatic switch. You will need a 3-gang box and a 3-gang cover for that box to place this switch into. Place it on the wall next to existing (hopefully!) dedicated GFCI interruptor for that jacuzzi. Earn extra points for 3D-printing the rare and precious 3-gang blank cover by yourself, further justifying existence of your expensive 3D-printer to your better half. Seal the remote in a cute little ziplock bag to prevent water from damaging the remote over time. If this switch ever fails - it is easy to replace without demolishing the tile. Only one button to learn about - you cannot go wrong! Somewhat unusual 12-volt battery should last a long time, just like it does in garage openers. 40 amps provide extra margin of safety. If you don't need WiFi feature of this switch - just disregard it, it works fine just with remote control, without WiFi connection. Good switch in my book.

Great switch, with some limitations
This switch has an impressive capacity, and the remote will no doubt come in handy. It's ideal for high-current appliances such as heaters or a swimming pool filter. But if you are planning to "hack" it for use in local (not cloud-based) home automation, you should know that it has a TUYA WR2E module in it, not ESP8266 (according to FCC documentation). If you don't know what that means, don't worry; it won't apply to you! Everything seems to work just fine as intended. The only issue is that if you want to use it with Google or Alexa, you have to download the TUYA Smart Life app. This is a good, reliable app, but some people have expressed concern that it uses cloud services in China. The description does mention this, but in case you didn't notice it, be sure to have a battery ready to go for the remote, because it is not included, and it's not one you're likely to have sitting around (A26).

Worked great... for 3 months and now will not connect to wifi
It was working great and setup was easy via the Tuya app (actually I was amazed that setup worked on the first try). It worked great for 3 months, then out of nothing, it stopped connecting to the WiFi network. I have both Cisco AP with Cisco WLAN Controller, and also Meraki AP and on both, the logs showed that the device was not receiving the IP address assigned via DHCP and static assignment. Now, without connectivity to WiFi, it is an useless device.

Used to control sprinkler pump
This is a simple cost effective wifi solution to, update, schedule, and automate a sprinkler pump system.

Works great with Tuya App but can't be detected by Alexa or Google Home
This wifi switch worked great with our pool pump replacing an old Intermatic manual timer switch that I got tired getting replacement trippers. Was easy enough to pair with the Tuya App to add pool pump schedules however as of January 2024 both Alexa and Google Home won't detect this anymore even after account linking and I was unable to use with our smart home system. That's why I only gave it 3 stars. If KTNNKG or Tuya is able to work with Amazon and Google to make this switch compatible I would change to 5 stars. For now, I have to open the Tuya App every time I want to control the switch with my phone or tablet. I'll check again in a few months and revise my review if anything changes.

Great Wi-Fi switch!
I bought three of these switches for my houseboat. One for each air conditioning unit and one for my hot water heater. I use them in conjunction with the Smart Life app. My AC units are 120 volts and so is the hot water heater. All 3 units only pull around 10 amps each, so these switches could handle more, but I didn't want to worry the switches weren't big enough. The reason I got them is so I can have the boat cool when I get there. Before, the boat would be unbearably hot in the summer when I got to it and have to wait for the AC to cool it down. Also I can turn the hot water heater on and take a shower immediately if I want to. The install was super easy. Hot and neutral in and hot and neutral out. I used 10 gauge wire and they accommodate that easily. I keep a cell phone on the boat with the hotspot turned on for them to connect to. The Smart Life app is very user friendly and works great with these switches. The remotes are a lifesaver also. Some of the coves that I go to don't have cell signal. If there isn't cell signal for my hotspot the app doesn't work. In this case I use the remotes. The slip that I keep my boat in has full cell signal so it is never a problem there. I don't care if the app works or not when I am staying somewhere else in a cove, I just use the remotes. I said all this to say, if you are going to use these like me, sometimes with WiFi sometimes without, the remotes are a huge bonus. Another great feature is that within the app you can set up the switch if there is a lose of power, when it is restored to either default on or off. This is also a great feature for me because on a boat you are always switching between shore power and generator power. So there are lots of times when the power is lost and then restored. I have mine set to off when power is restored. I would rather turn them on myself. I'm very happy with my purchase. Hope they last for many years.

Amazing pool light controller
I was looking for wireless controller to remotely turn on/ off the pool light. It works so well and easy to setup. I highly recommend it if you are looking to control light/ or the pump of your pool.
