In my first review I was impressed with the quality. I’ve now had the shoe laundry bag for 7 months. After using the bag just a few times, the zipper already broke off in the wash and the bag would not unzip. I had to cut the bag to get my shoes out, so now the bag is useless. The mesh is very sturdy, I will give it that. Item made in China. My yardwork shoes are worn out running shoes and they get GROSS! I do bang off dried mud, take out support inserts, hose down, pre soak and brush scrub off the bulk of mud. However? I really want to add soap to remove the sweat and poison ivy oils.Now I can use the agitation and spin actions of my washer for the final cleaning. One cylinder bag can hold a pair of ladies size 8 and two inserts. Each end of the bag has a sturdy “star” that limits smashing - so water is flushing around all surfaces. The mesh and seams are well made and the zipper works smoothly and stays closed!

I've been using these Shoe/Sneaker Wash Bags for years and they do not disappoint! I found them from a YouTube recommendation video. If I had to put my sneakers in the wash without the bags, along with other laundry items, thinking about it grosses me out. But having a protective layer so it not only cleans the shoes, it protects it from getting damaged, and mixing with other laundry fabrics and mediums. It keeps the shape, and for an added stain tip, I'll use a spot cleaner or baking soda in the wash bag to further freshen. On another note, my sister had used these bags for sweaters, and loved how it protected the shape and material.

A zipper broke on one bag the first time I used them. It was hard to get the bag open.I just use my other 4.
