Does the job
It works to pick up nails and screws from burn pile. That's what I got it for, though I imagined it bigger for some reason. It fits in hand well and does what I need it to. Can imagine it will be useful for other uses.

Grabs hold and doesn't let go
I ordered this magnet to use in my knife making hobby. When a blade is heat treated, it will often warp during quenching. The warp usually has to be ground out and that's hard to do without a magnet to hold the blade flat on the platen. This magnet works really well. It is super strong and when it grabs hold of the knife, it takes brute force to remove it. That's what I want because I don't like knife blades flying around my shop. This magnet has a nice sturdy handle, and it's just the right size for my needs. The price was really reasonable, and it comes with removable shields that prevent the magnet from grabbing things that you don't want grabbed. I recommend it highly and would definitely buy it again.

Super strong, holds my plates for grinding
I use this for holding my blades while grinding and profiling. Works great super strong.

It's worth the money you're paying
Very strong magnet appearance isn't that bad I would rather have seen it connected on both ends so that way your hand wouldn't slide off one side when using. Pretty good quality for the money you're paying. Easy to use appearance looks nice but it would be better if it was connected on both sides

Strong! A safety tool.
I have 3 of these now. I use them to hold metal when I’m using a grinder to shape it. They hold the metal very well and it makes it much safer to have a handle to hold your workpiece when the sandpaper belt is flying by your hands at 10k RPMs. Highly recommend.

Magnets - how do they work?
It attracts ferromagnetic items and does not do it to diamagnetic ones.Good size, pretty strong. The handle is nice particularly If you need to use this regularly.

Not made in the USA
The product is fine but the description is wrong.We chose this product over the other similar products because it said the country of origin was the USA.After getting the product it says that it was made in China.
