Weedon's Skin Pathology

Excellent book

The pages are in fine shape but the book is difficult to use as the spine is broke and the cover has come off within a week of using. Not the quality I thought I was getting and definitely not worth the price!

Excellent dermpath reference book.

I was horrified to find that the second textbook I ordered after destroying the first one (by repeatedly opening and shutting it over 6 months) to study from for my postgraduate dermatopathology exams was missing the end of the chapter on mucinosis and jumps straight to calcinosis cutis (chapters 14/15). I only discovered this two months later when I need to review the discussion on tumoral calcinosis for a case. This may also have caused me to make a wrong diagnosis in a solitary lesion on the face for a dermatologist, which I called papular mucinosis when it is probably best regarded as focal mucinosis. I have been forced to order a third copy and will check it immediately. Will give this defective book to the trainees/registrars and warn them about it. A pity, as this is the encylopaedia of dermatopathology.
