Riflescope Vantage IR

I am using this scope on an Air Venturi Avenger in .22 caliber. I chose it for 4 main reasons. First- Hawke's reputation for quality scopes Second- parallax focus down to 10 yards Third- the 50mm objective lets in a lot of light Fourth- the illuminated reticle All these add up to a very good scope for daytime and low light conditions. Plus the image is quite sharp across the entire field of view. An added plus is that the parallax adjustment seems accurate. Unlike my other scopes when focused at 25 yards the parallax dial actually reads 25 yards. If I have any complaint it would be that the elevation and windage dials, while tool-free do require you to unscrew the caps. I knew that going in so I can't complain too much. All-in-all I think this is a good scope at this price point.

This scope was perfect. I mounted it and it was already bore sighted perfect. Shot once at 50 yards and it was 3" right and 4" low and moved the reticle to the hole. Sighted at 100 yards and 1" right and adjusted and shot a doe at 100 yards with it today and going back out tomorrow with it again. I love this scope.

I very much liked my Hawk rifle scope. The scope displays sharp images, and works very well. I bought it upon recommendation from someone online and I was not disappointed. They are very good quality scopes at an affordable price.

This is a great scope. Using these on a couple pcp air rifles and I am pretty impressed. Optics are crisp and clear, no blurring or distortion near the edges. Scope tracks well Light gathering is really good...I could see details at near dark through the scope I couldn't see with my eyes. Had deer walk by at 15yds that I couldn't spot... Looked through the scope and I could see it clearly wander off. The reticle is thin and crisp, illumination is bright. Parallax adjustment is really smooth, but wish it offered side adjustment knob/wheel. The Hawke app is awesome to be able to quickly reference your saved gun/scope setups and different ammo weights to be able to hit targets confidently with or without turret adjustments.

Clear glass with decent eye box considering the price point. Only thing I can ding for is that the illumination should start at one level for both colors (red/green) For example. Starting at Low for both colors instead of high on one and low on the other. Full disclosure. I haven't zeroed this scope yet (I bought two) on my Ruger American or my Savage MkII, but I have no reason to think they wont. The illumination is very good and the tool less adjustment knobs are nice. Target knobs would have been nice, but being MilDot you are supposed to zero and use the hold off. Over all quality is quite good with little wiggle at adjustable objective or at the eye piece. 4.5 stars.

I wanted a good scope to put on a Henry 22 LR and this one caught my eye. I have no idea what sheerness or warmth has to do with a scope but this is Amazon after all. The Red and Green illuminated crosshairs is a great touch and black when off. The range markings for HV 22 LR cartridges actually works. I set it for zero at 50 yards and tried it at some of the longer distances and it was on within reason. Of course it is dependent on the actual velocity of the cartridge you are using and the length of barrel, etc, but in general the concept was right on the money. It is a well made scope and all the features work as described. I would recommend it!

I originally had this scope mounted on a .223 Remington, but have since mounted it on a .22lr. The scope has performed flawlessly on both rifles. I have contacted Hawke to learn more about their product by phone and email. They have always answered my questions. I think registering your scope for the warranty is easy too. Hawke is a company from the U.K. while their product is made in China, similar to Vortex being a U.S. company and their products also being made in China. I try to support American companies, but I just couldn’t afford one with all of these features with it being made in the U.S.A. I own two Hawke rifle scopes from the Vantage line. These scopes are all caliber rated. The other Vantage scope I have is mounted on a .22lr. If I have a need for another scope I will definitely look into purchasing another.

The scope package was damaged from being wet. The scope appears to be OK. The Amazon package was not damaged or wet.

good: value for money, optical quality and properties, mechanics (reticle adjustment, magnification, reticle illumination), design. possible improvents: reticle illumination too bright in low light conditions; what's the use-case of green reticle illumination? No experience regarding durability yet.

Ottimo imballo, rispetto dei tempi. Avevo lo stesso cannocchiale ma senza IR. Certo, le ottiche da oltre 1000 € sono un'altra cosa, ma per chi ha bisogno solo di un buon prodotto qui trova un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Man sollte unter 1,5Nm bleiben. Ich habe die Montageringe mit 1,8Nm angezogen und der Tubus hat nachgegeben. Die funktion ist allerdings trotzdem geheben.

Sehr zufrieden, macht einen stabilen Eindruck lässt sich präzise einstellen. Die Verstellung der Vergrößerung ist etwas schwer gängig aber sonst alles top. Würde ich wieder kaufen.
