Having previously used (and broken) a traditional beach tent requiring fiddly assembly each time, I wanted a pop-up tent that would take a few seconds to put together and not much longer to fold away. I opted for this one based on the many positive reviews, but I'm afraid I can't agree with the overwhelming number of 5 star reviews and in fact I'm slightly baffled by them, as surely other people must have noticed all the downsides.The pros first:- It's very lightweight- It pops up in a matter of seconds- It generally holds its shape (unless the wind is very strong)- Unlike some other reviewers, I had no trouble at all folding it back up, though putting it back in its carry bag is definitely easier with two people.Now the cons:- It's actually not as spacious as I expected, given all the reviews along the lines of "I was surprised how large it was". I would say it's a small to average size for a beach tent, two people can fit in there but they certainly won't be lying down in it, unless they leave their legs out in the sun.- The mesh at the back: ok, this was mentioned in the description so I guess I shouldn't complain about it, it seems like a good idea but actually on a British beach it isn't. If the wind starts to blow and you want some protection (which after all is one of the main reasons for having a beach tent) you won't have much joy with this product. With my previous tent, closed on three sides, I was able to keep quite warm inside it on windy days. With this one, the wind blows right through and you get really cold. It seems crazy that that they didn't include a flap that could be closed on top of the mesh. Bad oversight in my view. I will need to think of some way to cover it up, probably permanently.- The front doesn't zip up! Surely one of the reasons for having a beach tent is so you can get changed inside it? This tent affords you no privacy whatsoever, what with the mesh at the back and a front that's permanently open. I'm frankly quite confused by the design.- It's not waterproof in the sense of protecting from light rain. If there's a passing rain cloud (let's face it, a common occurrence on British beaches even in the height of summer) you'll just get wet, because the front doesn't zip up and the shape of the opening means that the rain will fall right onto the middle of the tent. Not to mention the rain getting in through the mesh at the back.In hindsight, I now wish I had spent more time looking at the features of this product before ordering. I've used it now so I guess I can't return it and I'll have to live with it, but I'm definitely not too impressed and I already look forward to it breaking so I have an excuse to order something better.

Never thought about getting something like this but after struggles with sun shades blowing away thought we give it a go. Came across this one on Amazon and looked ok so took the plunge. When it arrived was really impressed it was well packaged in a handy carry bag and it really did pop up as soon as it was released. It's got UV protection so should be good and has some handy side pockets you can weigh it down with sand or pebbles. Lots of room inside for 2 kidoz...Putting back into the bag is a knack but there are easy instructions given, just follow them n you are done. Just couple of tries and it becomes very easy n quick job.the manufacturer has thought of everything ! Can't report on longevity as of yet but looks well made, all in all I think its a great buy and recomended !

Very happy with this purchase, great pop up beach tent. We are going to Italy and France very soon so this is will be very good sun protection at the beach or from sand if it’s windy day. Also would be great for fishing, picnics or in the garden to play with children. Very small pack size is great for traveling as it compact size is very handy. Made of polyester fabric, good quality. Safe for kids to use as non toxic materials been used for production. At the back it has mesh for ventilation and door also can be opened. Easy to use no assembly required, you can set it up in minutes to enjoy your time outdoor. Great product for small children and dogs, to keep them away from sun or wind. Good buy and value for the money.

The weather was brilliant today so we spent it on the garden with my son. I decided to put this tent up for him to play in and to protect him from the sun.I actually bought this for an upcoming holiday so this gave me a chance to test it out before we go.It worked brilliantly! It was easy to put up and down without much effort. It’s pretty big which I wasn’t expecting but it worked really well!Can’t wait to take this away with us!

This is our first pop up tent and I was surprised by how easy it is to set up- it literary just pops up. The first time we used it was at a beach on a very windy day and the tent stayed in place and really offered protection from the find but most importantly from sand blowing everywhere. It also provides a nice little haven as it feels that you are tucked away from everyone around you. I really regret not getting this earlier when our son was younger and had afternoon naps as this just provides a perfect place for a nap. It can easily fit 2 adults and a child

I absolutely cannot sit in the sun for 15 minutes or more, as I almost immediately start to burn - even when wearing factor 100! This allows me to actually have a life in Summer. It's small enough not to cause a nuisance and get in anyone's way and I can happily sit and read a book or look at my phone, without the sun scorching me! I still wear my suncream though... top tip - get a mate/partner to put it up for you while you cower in the car - otherwise you'll burn before you get in it! 😂 But it really only takes seconds to put up and secure! 😊

We took this abroad for our summer holiday. Only used it once, but it was brilliant. On a remote beach with no shade it afforded us a bit of protection and a break from the sun. Also kept the wind from blowing sand everywhere as we changed inside it. Big enough, just, for two adults and a small child to sit in. We used the outer side pockets to weigh the tent down using sand and rocks (rather than the supplied tent pegs). Easy enough to fold, once you know how, and would suggest a couple of practices before you go to save some embarrassment at the beach.

This is a fab product. It is very compact when stored and pops up really easily. It also folds down really easily too. There's a hook inside to hang a light on. It comes with tent pegs to secure it down, but not sure how well these would perform on dry sand. You could use it at a picnic too or a sporting event or music gig. It is big enough to get two adults in sat down but more suited to kids.

Das Zelt steht innerhalb von ein paar Sekunden.Auch das wieder zusammen legen stellt kein Problem da und passt ganz einfach wieder in die mitgelieferte Tasche rein!Sehr praktisch ist bei diesen Zelt das der Boden noch ein Stück bis außen reicht! Dadurch liegt das Handtuch nicht im Sand und es bleibt sauber in der Strandmuschel!Meine Kinder verwenden es auch jetzt schon als Spielezelt für innen da es schnell aufgebaut und auch wieder weg geräumt ist!Wir verwenden es für zwei Erwachsene und zwei kleine Kinder.Der hohe UV Schutz war auch ein wichtiger Punkt das wir uns für dieses Zelt entschieden haben!

Tragetasche auf, Zelt aufwerfen und ein wenig zurecht zupfen. Wirklich super schnell aufgebaut!Dank der Anleitung in der Tragetasche weißt man auch wie man das Zelt zurück in die Tragetasche bekommt. Ging schnell und unkompliziert!Wir nehmen Das Zelt mit in den nächsten Urlaub, die Sonnenschirme können wir uns somit sparen.Verarbeitung ist soweit ich es bei meiner Probe im Wohnzimmer erkennen konnte auch ohne Mängel!

Für unseren kommenden Urlaub habe ich die Strandmuschel gekauft und direkt mal zu Hause ausprobiert.Sie kommt in einen kleinen runden Beutel und ist platzsparend verpackt. Durch die POP-UP Funktion ist die Muschel innerhalb von 3 Sekunden aufgestellt. Es ist Platz für circa 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind vorhanden. Positiv ist hier der Boden, der vor Sand schütz.Durch die Mitgelieferten Haken, lässt sich die Muschel im Boden fixieren, wobei ich dies noch nicht ausprobiert habe.Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, vielseitig einsetzbar (Strand, Garten, als Zelt zum spielen) und platzsparend sowie leicht verpackt.

Warum habe ich mir das Produkt gekauft?1. Weil ichs im Urlaub nicht einsehe pro Tag für die Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand zu bezahlen2. Weil wir viel im Urlaub unterwegs sind und vor allem an Stränden halt machen wo sonst niemand ist unds da selten Schatten gibt3.Ich hatte keine Lust am Strand lange etwas aufzubauen, sondern das Produkt sollte "plop" machen und aufgebaut sein.Wie hat uns das Produkt nun nach 2 Wochen Urlaub gefallen?Die Bify hat perfekt in den Koffer gepasst, was umständliches mitzerren als Handgepäck überflüssig macht.Die Strandmuschel lässt sich super easy aufbauen und genauso leicht wieder abbauen. Eine Abbauanleitung ist in der Verstautasche eingenäht. Gebraucht hatte ich sie nicht, da ich bereits Erfahrung mit einem Fotoreflektor hatte.Der einfache Abbau hat am Strand oft für Verwunderung gesorgt und wir sind mehrmals auf das "coole Teil" angesprochen worden.Platz hatten wir als 2 Erwachsene samt Gepäck gut, stabil und leicht war sie auch.Herringe waren inkl. und haben beim Sand gut gehalten. Am Kiesstrand haben wir einfach Steine zum beschweren genommen und in die Seitentaschen gelegt.Fazit:Tolles Produkt, das uns den Urlaub auf jedem Untergrund schattiger gemacht hat und klare Kaufempfehlung unsererseits.

Die Strandmuschel riecht ziemlich Chemisch, hat am Kopf Teil keine Silberfolie eingearbeitet (UV-Schutz?), aber das Schlimmste, es war uns unmöglich das Teil wieder zusammen zu legen und das obwohl wir beide campingerprobt und recht praktisch veranlagt sind. Zuerst haben wir es lt. Anleitung versucht, in die eine und die andere Richtung, da hatte die Strandmuschel schon den ersten Knick und ließ sich nicht mehr gut aufstellen! Nach weiteren Versuchen war das Ding hinüber! Es wird zurück geschickt, weil ich nicht 28,- in den Müll schmeißen möchte, da würde es meiner Meinung nach aber hin gehören! Absolut keine Kaufempfehlung!

Anfangs war ich begeistert doch nach dem Praxistest auf den Kanaren entspricht es nicht mehr meinen Vorstellungen.Sonst hatten wir immer ein altes Exemplar welches deutlich komplizierter war im Auf und Abbau.Das war auch der Grund für die Neuanschaffung.Aber ich muss gestehen,so richtig viel Platz haben wir in unserer neuen Strandmuschel nicht mehr wie sonst.Zudem war es in unserer alten Strandmuschel komplett schattig,während wir in dieser hier und da noch Sonne hatten die ihren Weg scheinbar gefunden hat,wie zum Beispiel durch das hintere Netz.Auch flatterte unsere Muschel durch die leichte Brise hin und her und wirkte lappig.Für'n Ausflug am normalen See mag es ok sein aber am Atlantik für meinen Geschmack ungeeignet.

Ich kann die ganzen positiven Bewertungen hier absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Das Material ist super dünn, die innenliegenden Stäbe sind es ebenfalls, sodass sich das gesamte Zelt bei dem kleinsten Windstoß verbiegt. Die Heringe zum befestigen der Schlaufen im Sand sind sehr dünn und leicht, was dazu führt, dass sie bei Wind ständig rausrutschen. Wir haben konnten die Strandmuschel nur dann befestigen, als wir in jede Ecke etwas reingestellt haben. Hat man das Teil dann endlich wieder zusammen gefaltet, ist es schnell passiert, dass die dünnen Drähte verbogen sind und man beim nächsten ausfalten noch weniger Stabilität in das Teil kriegt. Ob das Ding wasserfest ist, kann ich nicht sagen, da es nie geregnet hat, als wir es genutzt haben. Ich finde den Lüftungsschlitz hinten auch nicht so glücklich, weil er doch recht viel Sonne durchlässt und wenn man eben etwas Sonnenschutz möchte, ist der Platz auf dem man sich aufhalten kann um von der Sonne geschützt zu sein, sehr beschränkt.

Pop up Strandmuschel/StrandzeltSuper Teil! Super StrandmuschelPreis- Leistung sehr gut! Auf- und Abbau total easy. Zelt aus der Transporttasche nehmen, kurz schütteln, am Seil ziehen, Zelt spannt sich auf, fertig. Zusammenbau genau so leicht. Hat den ersten Urlaub ohne Beschädigung überstanden und wurde dort mal im Sand, mal auf Steinen, mal im Gras aufgestellt. Kleines Pack maß ist ideal um das Zelt in einer normalen Reisetasche zu verstauen.Die Strandmuschel ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut und sie ist super einfach auf und abzubauen.Tolles Zelt. Super schnell zum Aufstellen, gute Verarbeitung, toll zu transportieren!

Die Strandmuschel ist wirklich super schnell aufgebaut und kann mit den mitgelieferten Heringen einfach befestigt werden. Wir passen super sogar zu viert in die Muschel (2 Erwachsene und 2 kleine Kinder). In unteren Teil der Rückwand ist ein Netz, wodurch ein bisschen frische Luft durchkommt.  Sie lässt sich ebenfalls super einfach wieder zusammenlegen. Dazu ist in der Tragetasche eine Anleitung mit Bildern, die mir komplett gereicht hat um sie zusammenzulegen. Dadurch das die Strandmuschel recht klein gemacht werden kann, kann sie ganz einfach und ohne großen Platz zu benötigen, überall mit hingenommen werden.

Haben diese Strandmuschel für unseren Urlaub mit Kleinkind in der Bretagne bestellt. Nun muss man sagen, dass es in der Bretagne durchaus stürmisch werden kann. Nun ja, gegen echten Wind kommt dieses Strandzelt leider nicht an und klappt schon mal zusammen. Für ruhige Tage ist es aber ein schöner Sonnenschutz, leicht aufzubauen. Die Heringe zum Befestigen verschwinden allerdings schon mal im Sand wenn man nicht aufpasst. Aber es ist relativ klein zusammenzufalten und schnell auf und abgebaut.

Das Zelt kam in einem Riesen Paket und ich dachte warum so Riesig. Und dann war dort das "Kleine" Zelt Drin. Aber das ist ein Fehler von Amazon und Fließt deshalb nicht mit in die Bewertung. Das Zelt wirft man einfach und es ist Fertig Offen. Man hat 6 Haken die Rammt man einfach in denn Boden und schon ist alles Fest. Top Produkt

Ich habe die Strandmuschel bestellt, da bei uns am Badesee eigentlich immer Mangel an Schattenplätzen herrscht. Sie ist schnell offen und spendet ausreichend Schatten für uns (2 Erwachsene und ein Hund). Ich werde sie definitiv auch mit in den Strandurlaub nehmen, da sie sehr viel leichter und handlicher ist als ein Sonnenschirm. Beim Zusammenfalten hatte ich etwas Probleme, hatte aber hier schon von den Youtubevideos gelesen und muss sagen, damit ging es dann problemlos. Somit eine feine Sache.

Ich habe die Muschel hauptsächlich für unseren Garten bestellt. Da können wir unsere kleine Maus reinlegen und vor der Sonne schützen. Es ist wirklich sehr gross. Haben schon eine andere die ich aber immer mit Stangen zusammenbauen muss. Diese hier lässt sich Sekunden schnell aufbauen. Das zusammenfalten war beim ersten mal etwas fummelig aber wenn man es dann einmal raus hat geht es einfach und schnell. Gut finde ich das Netz auf der Rückseite. Das gibt eine durchlüftung und die Hitze staut sich darin nicht. Im Sommer kommt sie aufjedenfall mit ans Meer.

Baut sich sofort von selbst auf. Der Kampf das Ding wieder in die Verpackung zu bekommen ist allerdings wie bei allen anderen Zelten dieser Art ein Desaster. Aber das scheint tatsächlich normal zu sein. Haben viele Zelte dieser Art ausprobiert. Jedes Mal nach einem Einsatz in den Müll gewandert. Hier scheint es aber etwas leichter zu gehen und wir haben es wieder in die Verpackung bekommen. Also muss jeder selbst wissen ob man sich so ein Ding zulegt.

Als die Strandmuschel angekommen ist war ich total begeistert schnelles auf- und abbauen ging problemlos. Allerdings hat wohl keiner der Leute die, diese Strandmuschel mit 5 Sternen bewerten, sie jemals am Strand aufgebaut. Nach 10 Minuten stand das Ding so einigermaßen die Heringe sind zu kurz und geben keinen Halt die Stäbe in dem Produkt können selbst lauem Wind nicht standhalten.Ich kann diese Strandmuschel definitiv nicht empfehlen!
