Bought as a gift after owning one for years
This is such a nifty little keychain. I have used the "box-cutter", bottle opener, and carabiner features quite a bit over the many years I've had this on my keys. I put "box-cutter" in quotes because it's quite dull, but it still cuts through packing tape. The bottle opener also isn't the greatest, but it works in a pinch. This keychain multi-tool comes in for the win when you're in need. It's compact and minimalistic, and it's essentially always accessible because you typically know where your keys are at any given time. I love mine so much that I decided to buy one for my husband as part of his auto-themed V-day gift this year. I highly recommend it!

Exceptional camera tool
Great tool for attaching and removing tripod plates from camera rigs. I just wish the carabiner opening was larger as its hard to take on and off my belt loop.

Get It
this lil unit is suprizingly useful and discrete with a simple and low profile for an every day carry without a blade. This is my second after gifting my previous one to my son. It prys, pops, clips, turns and the more.

Neat little keyring gagdet
You really don't have enough keyring widgets or multi-tools, do you? I like the features on this one, It lies flat on a keyring and mine sits next to a Swiss-tech key-like tool that has small flat and Phillips screwdrivers and a very sharp blade, a tiny Spyderco, one of those washer-like universal flat scewdrivers, a musical instrument tuner, a small Fenix AAA flashlight, a small magnifier, Commando eyeglasses screwdriver, etc. etc. I had to get a larger split ring to add one more item. The DoohicKey has some standard hex wrenches, incl. 1/4" that will handle bits (although mine was a bit tight); a wide flat screwdriver blade that's thin enough to handle smaller screws that aren't recessed; metric and standard scales; a box/tape cutter that's adequate, but might require a couple of passes with fiber-reinforced tape (I don't think it'll work on plastic packing tape on a roll - it's not a true knife edge). I tested the bottle opener on some Dos Equis, and it works. I can recommend it and would buy it again. Would make a neat litle gift or stocking stuffer.

The single most useful thing on my keys
The media could not be loaded. This is the single most useful thing you can have on your keys... I'm not sure keys to a bank vault can do better than the DoohicKey!I bought it a couple of years ago and quickly found that the box opener was by far the most used item on there. It makes light work of tape, paper tape and the paper tape with threads in it that Amazon uses. In the video, you can see just how easy it is to hack your way into a box without damaging the contents.I've used the end to pry things and unscrew things as well, certainly it works on those screwdriver operated switches you see from time to time. I've used the spanner/wrench bits once, it was good in a pinch. The bottle opener does work but you might find that you have to pry the cap, turn the bottle 90 degrees, and pry again to get it off. I'll be honest, it doesn't bother me when I do this, it's still quick. And the clip is great. Even after a year it still in place and works as well as the day I got the DoohicKey. I use it a lot, especially when I want to quickly put my car key on my house keys or ensure that my keys won't go anywhere. Also, this tool does not make your keychain too much bigger because you're using it, when I'm not using it I barely notice it.Love it.Pros:* Incredibly useful for opening boxes especially. I get into Amazon boxes in no time at all and never damage the contents.* Bottle opener works well* I really like the clip, that's standing up to the test of time* Solid metal build, you won't hurt itCons:* None

Should have gotten one ages ago!
Already it has been so handy on my keychain, I wish I had gotten this a long time ago.Having the pry tool around is useful in so many situations.I much prefer this older version of the DoohicKey over the new 2.0, since the 2.0 has a sharper edge which is not comfortable to have in the pocket. This one is great, simple and effective!

attracts to magnet
The box cutter is not sharp, which is a plus for me, since it seems like something I can travel with without being a problem with TSA. It makes a decent little pry bar and flathead screwdriver. The clip seems well designed. It's not flimsy. It does strongly attract to magnets, so its probably not a great stainless steel, so I really doubt its going to be highly corrosion resistant. The ruler is useless as the numbers are almost impossible to read in most conditions.

I Don't See Why You Wouldn't Want One
I have a few different keychain tools, and this DoohicKey is probably going to be the only one with a permanent home on my keychain. Granted, some of these tools have questionable usefulness. For example, I'll probably never use, or even think to use, the wrenches but it's nice to have them in what would otherwise be wasted space. At the very least, this is a bottle opener with some other cool features. The package opener is particularly useful. Sure, you could use pretty much any old key to do the same thing, but not nearly as well. This is a great tool, but there are a couple shortcomings I should point out. First, if you're using it connected to a split ring keychain with other keys on it, like I am, it occasionally clumps up. This is because there is so much space within the gated part (the gate, by the way, is very sturdy on mine). Secondly, the measurements on both the inch and metric rulers are both slightly off. They're about 1/16" short across the length of the scale. This is more funny than anything, as I doubt I'll ever attempt to measure something with this. All in all, this is way better than those cheap aluminum bottle openers that many people have on their keychains. It takes up less space and has a few other uses than just opening bottles. For the price, this makes a great impulse buy or stocking stuffer.
