Didn't work - Insufficient signal
We tried this with an iPhone X and a new iPad, and connected to a new Samsung TV and to the theater system in my car. It didn't work. On the TV we received the error message that there is "insufficient signal." So, I am returning this device.

Converter cord useless because of Apple restrictions..
This doesn’t work for streaming videos on Amazon Prime or through any other video source app. Apple don’t allow you to mirror apps for a phone you own and a service you pay for through Amazon. This cord is useless really . Once thing you can mirror is your texts and emails.

Not the best quality!
Product was defective. Gets really hot and does not transfer the picture from phone to the television. Bought another brand and works fine. Do not purchase.

It gets very hot in a matter of minutesI put a fan to blow at it to cool it down

It feel cheap
Everything about it is an ok, the instruction looks like a scam because it tells us to go to their website and download an app from them and install the software. While installing, it plays a weird sound like you being hacked. But other than that, you can just forget the instruction that they give you and just plug it to your phone, plug-in HDMI, and also about this item, you must put the charger in so it will work. When it worked, played some video, some time it gets really slow and the item can get hot a little. Overall, if you gonna use this item a lot, I don't recommend this "Apple MFi Certified" item and actually buy it from "Apple" Seller. Can get pricy but better than having to experience slowness of this item.
