Versatile and rechargable
These were the least expensive lanterns I found on Amazon that were rechargeable, bright, and had a hi/lo setting. They are reasonably sturdy - all plastic, so it's a weight vs heft issue - if they used heavier castings or aluminum they'd also weigh more - which would be fine if you're a car camper or you want to keep them in the house for emergency use - but might be a deal breaker for backwoods camping. They are pretty feature rich - flashlight and lantern, multiple settings, red blinker light for distress, capable of charging a cell phone. Quite bright, and the frosted lens cast an even light. The stuff bag is handy as it would be easy to lose the hanger clip or charging cable (no onboard storage), and should keep them reasonably scuff-free during storage and transport. Put them on a charger upon receipt (they worked, but pre-charging is recommended) and they topped up in about 4 hours. Haven't run one down yet, but I expect they last for several hours based on the battery capacity. For the price and occasional use, they seem very good.

Cheap and worth every penny
I bought this two pack and was very impressed with the brightness, the different modes, including a red mode, and the battery life. They did exactly what they were supposed to do and were quite sturdy.I have no problem with recommending them especially for around $27 for two.

Exactly what I was looking for.
Purchased 2 for our outdoor activities. Solid product, as described, and good lighting for what we want in a tent and to help the kids around the campsite at night. Doubles as a hand held light as well as a tent lantern (hook included). Arrived charged and in working order, not too heavy. An added plus was the ability to charge other items if needed from the light battery (has a USB output). Although its not solar powered, we have solar batteries and chargers to charge the lanterns as needed, but I knew that at purchase. They are also great for inclement weather whenever the electricity goes out. We are happy with our purchase and the product. Will update if needed.

It's nice 'n' bright and water tight. Price was right so thought I'd bite.
It ain't like the old flashlights that were made out of aluminum tubing with 6 D cell batteries to give it heft. This thing doesn't weigh half a pound, quality is about what you'd expect for today's throw away world. The light output is pretty amazing and much improved over the aforementioned 6 D cell. However, this one cannot be used for a club for self-defense, say for against a hungry bear, (fear not, Yogi) unlike that old 6 cell, that is unless you are lighting your way to the "self defense club". I like that it's rechargeable and the battery life seems good. Haven't run out of lumens yet after several hours of use and one charge. The only annoying thing is that you have to cycle through all of the modes to turn the thing off. 6 clicks on a switch that's probably going to be the first and perhaps most important component to fail. Do that several times a day on a camping trip and guaranteed that the switch will go before the charge does. Minus one star for poor engineering and for annoying me.

A great flashlight with many different uses!
This flashlight charges by USB C, which is great for utility and carrying it around. It's a great choice to keep anywhere in your house, and in your car as well. The actual canister lights up both white to use as a room lantern, and red to signal for help (like if you are stuck on the side of the road). One of my unique uses? My office is next to my porch window, and I would rather use the lantern instead of turning on my ceiling lights.

Good little lantern
In a recent power outage I hauled out my old battery powered camp lanterns, and both were dead, despite new batteries. When power returned I went to Amazon and saw these, and decided to give them a try. I haven't had to use them for an emergency yet, but I am very pleased with them. They are quite bright for their size, and seem to run a very long time on a charge. Another feature that I particularly like is that there is a port from which I can recharge my phone from the lantern battery. They are rechargeable from a USB cable, so any reasonable source of power will do.

Very bright!
Nice size, fits good in my hand. I like the different lights but was hoping it wouldn't cycle through all of them every time! Some lanterns I've had would just turn off after it was on one setting for a few minutes. This is a very, very good lantern for the price! Very bright! I think I woke up our local owl in his tree way out in a field!

Can't get any better for the price point.
I bought this so i could give one to my father as well, we both have seasonal camping sites. I thought these would be perfect for hanging over our picnic tables for playing games at night. The light output is great, and I'm so glad we got these, I couldn't be happier. Love that it doubles as a flashlight. I have not used it as a power bank to charge anything and probably won't.High is to bright for hanging right above our heads, so we use it the medium setting and light lasted 4-5 hours easy, it was still on at 3am when I passed out 🤦 and left it out all night on. Needless to say it was dead in the morning, charged fast and keeps on working strong for the last 2 months.
