Nice instrument, good value too
Good Cornet for me, returning to Cornet after 40yrs playing the Clarinet. Besson is a well known Brand and this product doesn't besmirch its reputation. My only criticism is that the valves are a little sluggish but I'm hoping they will free up with use (make sure you clean and oil the valves before first use).Also included was a superb Besson branded case (which can be worn as a backpack - straps included); a cloth bag to keep the Cornet from getting scratched; valve oil; tuning slide grease; microfibre cleaning cloth; white cotton gloves, and a 5B mouthpiece (I have my own mouthpiece so haven't used it). All in all a good purchase (not sure my neighbours agree though). I would be happy to recommend this for the more advanced student.
