A lovely little treat that's not too tart and not too sweet
After binge watching As Time Goes By I wanted to try custard tarts since Lionel is obsessed with them. These aren't the same as the soft, flaky egg tart variety, but they're delicious little snacks in their own right.The crust has a satisfying crunch and the filling pairs nicely with its texture and flavor. They're smaller than expected, but priced reasonably all things considered.The one sore spot is they're likely to arrive a tad crushed, we ordered a few boxes and none of them arrived unscathed.
