Great product and a wonderful price. Easy to install. Practically invisible.
Purchased for my wife's new 2025 Honda CRV, which has *very* tight door tolerances and would not accept traditional door edging without modifications. Product was easy to cut from the roll and start on the door edge. Quite flexible/stretchy as well. Lifting/resetting was also easy when I put it in the wrong spot. The great thing? With a 100' roll, I was able to re-do my first door when I was unhappy with the results. When applied, the film is nearly invisible. I am very happy that I purchased the width (1/2") and length (100') that I did. Can't wait until a friend or family purchases another new car.

Amazing quality!
3 years ago I installed this tape in my 3 cars and the tape looks like new. My friend saw my car today and I told him about the tape, he said wow looks very nice, so I shared him the link and he is buying one.

Advice from a newbie installer:
This film is pretty thin, I reckon no more than 8 mils thick. However, that's pretty standard thickness for PPF. Anyway, it's not designed to be bulletproof, it's designed to protect the door edges from mild dings should you (or your kids) be careless with door swings. If you plan to install this on a white car, you have to accept that dirt will eventually and permanently accumulate on the film edges, creating a black line along the edge of the door. For other colors, this will not be as noticeable. To prep the surface before installation, make sure you use a 70% isopropyl alcohol to clean the edge off. This film will not stick to oily or dirty surfaces. Do not use 99% isopropyl alcohol. 99% IPA evaporates too quickly to adequately dissolve any greases or oils. Besides, it is usually reserved for cleaning electronics that cannot tolerate water.Equip sufficient illumination to improve visual accuracy of film installation or you may end up with rather wavy looking film edges. After my installation experience, I realize there is a limit to how far you can stretch this film to accommodate curves. If the curvature is abrupt, it is better to cut the film short and resume with a new end. Make sure every end has its corners trimmed to prevent them from rolling up over time (such as during a car wash). As you apply this film along the edge, you want to adhere the center first. Once the film is laid across the entire continuous edge, use your thumb to wrap the film around the edge.

PPF had some hair wide strands that peeled off the edges of the precut side
There is more than enough to apply to multiple doors and on more than one car. The PPF adheres well to clean painted service and is easy to follow curves.I didn't rate 5 stars because the PPF had some hair wide strands that peeled off the edges of the precut side. I had to pull off these loose strands before applying to the car when I saw them as I unrolled the PPF. Or I had to pull the strands off after applying to the car which occasionally got under the sticky side. Not sure this is a normal issue or I got a bad roll.

Great Product - Does as advertised
WOW, this "tape" was very easy to apply to my doors. It looks great and you can hardly see it; as compared to the ugly plastic door guards you can buy at a local auto store. I plan to buy more for my wife's car and gifts. I see other reviews and questions that I should address:1. I have only had this for about a month. Looking very good.2. This film appears rubberized. It should protect my door and the "other car" door from the occasional dings. This tape is NOT heavy duty for a careless door opening with some force.3. Watch the video on the Xpel web site for installation tips and take your time. Proper cleaning is essential. The tape only covers about 1/8" inside and outside. It's very inconspicuous and hardly noticeable. I cleaned with the alcohol and it sticks very well. I did it on a warm day. The tape does wrap around curves well; just take your time.4. The company web site does show a wider tape (.5") if you want that size. But, I could not wrap any more on the inside of the door and I don't need a lot on the outside of the door to protect it from dings.5. The 12 feet you do get should do 4 doors. If you plan to do more than 2 cars, just buy the larger roll of the .38" tape.
