Sturdy and practical door stay
Fitted on personal garage door in a location that is frequently windy, works a treat and strong enough to keep the door in an open position in strong winds. The stay folds flat against the inside of the door when not use, it was easy to fit, easy to use and good value.

Robust and effective
This is ideal for me. The door I want to keep open has a strong self closing spring and the floor is very smooth. There's enough downward pressure on the floor from the springs for a good grip and it works well.

Just the ticket!
The door to my garage used to flap in the breeze, and has been wedged open with sticks/a potty/whatever for 2 years.NO MORE!!Fitted in 5 mins, no screws provided but at this price I can't complain.Pro tip - mark the door frame on the inner face of your door when it's CLOSED, to make sure you don't mount it such that the leg strikes the door frame when you close the door. I was keen to mount this lower and closer to the edge of the door for max power, so very glad I checked first!Holds the door just fine, definitely recommended.

Worked perfectly on a garden shed door. Easy to install and folds up neatly out of the way
Easy to attach and easy to operate. Not especially robust but good enough for a wooden garden shed door that slams shut in windy weather. Mounted on the inside of the door so protected from the weather when the door is shut. I would think it would corrode pretty quickly if exposed to the weather and the tubing and bracket use pretty thin steel so don't expect it to hold a heavy field gate or anything like that. Perfectly satisfied with it for my application though.

Misleading Dimensions
I bought 5 of the 25cm square door stops, 4 white and 1 black. The 25cm is a nominal overall length and the black one is correct but all 4 white ones are only 23cm long. The operating length of the black one, from the pivot point to the end of the rubber foot, is 20.75cm and the white ones are 19.5cms. The fixing brackets are 7.75cm long with 5mm fixing holes at 6.25cm pitch. The door stops are sturdy enough, it’s just a pity that the sellers haven’t provided accurate data.
