Exactly what I needed
I work in pest control and find myself regularly kneeling down throughout the day on concrete and tile flooring and over time that gets to be a bit tiresome. In looking for knee pads I needed something I can wear under my uniform pants without being a bulky mess. These are simple and exactly what I needed with its thin padding (about a half inch thick) and low profile curvature. I included an image of the size chart as it was missing from the original sales post.Just in case that image goes missing, sizing is as follows (as measured around elbow or knee/shin)XS - 7.5-9 inchesS - 9-12 inchesM - 12-16 inchesL - 16-20 inches

GREAT for those with larger legs!
I've been playing volleyball now for 2 years and only done a low level rec league. We bumped up to a higher league so I knew I needed to make the purchase of some knee pads. I tried to find the kind I used to use (softball knee pads) back in the day in high school but to no avail. I tried all kinds of brands that insisted they were 2x or XL (since I have bigger legs), even Wilson and Nike without luck. I like the thinner style knee pad so it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a turtle shell on my knees and the material is soft on the inside so you don't have any issues with knee pad burn. I wore them for our first game in the upper level last night and they were wonderful. They actually fit my larger legs without any issues or circulation being cut off, stayed up the entire time even wearing them over slick workout capris, and were cushy enough to protect my knees. FINALLY a pair that works perfectly, which means I'm sure they'll get discontinued at some point so I'll be stocking up on these.

Nice, affordable knee pads for dance fitness classes
I purchased these for pole fitness class where we do a lot of floor work and warm ups on our knees. These save my knees from hurting half way through class and make some of the tricks easier because I can move smoothly across the floor. I have not tried to invert with these but they do not interfere with spins or basic leg hooks. I purchased a large and they are a bit too snug above the knee as I have larger legs. It would be nice if an xl was offered. They do slip a bit during class and I have to adjust them every once in a while but not so often that they are annoying. They are hot and make my knees sweat but again not too much so as to be uncomfortable or annoying. I have only washed them once so cannot comment on how they hold up to regular washings. They bend easily and were not to stiff or thin, to me they have just the right amount of padding. I have worn them for 2-3 hours at a time 3-4 times a week for two months now and have not noticed any deterioration in quality. I would recommend these because they are affordable and have held up longer than expected and have shown no sign of needing to be replaced.

A good, cheap, basic knee pad
I'm a stock clerk at a grocery store, and I was looking for something that could protect my knees but would also be discrete and appropriate for work. While these pads certainly aren't fancy or for construction or high impact situations, they do their job. They do get sweaty, but don't pich or slip, and they can be washed on the handwash cycle. They have about a quarter of an inch of foam padding and do move and flex with you. Mine have worn out after four months, but that's four months on my knees often throughout the day, four days a week, for nine hours. I'd say that's a pretty good $5 spent. I'm probably going to get something thicker and more protective though because while my knees don't hurt, they creak a lot now and I'm only 22. I would definitely recommend these, just not for daily or heavy use.

They're very useful for scooting around when I don't really need my ...
I got these because I'm non weightbearing on one foot for four weeks. They're very useful for scooting around when I don't really need my crutches. Pros and cons are based on my particular use case so they might not apply for you.PROS:1. Fit perfectly ( If you need help picking a size - I got a medium. I'm 5ft4, 130lbs, and pear shaped.)2. No more rug burn.3. If you use them on bare skin, they don't slide around. I have tried both over and under my pants.CONS:1. They are elastic, not velcro, so they are a pain to take on and off, especially when I already have my surgical boot thingy on.2. If you wear them over your pants, you will have sweaty knees. If you wear them under your pants, they will be a little less comfy and your pants will get worn out knees.

Good low profile knee pad, depending on intended use
I purchased these for a pole fitness class to protect my knees and the material on the inside skins my knees slightly each wear. They work as far as making drops and floor moves less painful, but I get an unwanted exfoliation. If you are getting these for anything’s else where you just want low profile protection, they’d be great. I think the sweating and grinding is not a good mix for the material for my particular use. I switch between these since they are low profile and a thicker Franklin pair that aren’t as pretty, but do not cause me any issues.

found these and they are perfect for my need
having back problems and find myself leaning my weight on my elbows at desk and kitchen counters.....they have become sore and rough...looked at box stores for something and everything is skate board or roller blade hard plastic....found these and they are perfect for my need...takes the pressure off my elbow and allows skin lotion to soften them again to normal appearance and yet still lean while correcting back issues....good product for any need though.

Fits well, ample padding for low impact activity.
Sizing chart works. I measured my leg / knee, looked at the chart, bought a size, and it fits well.My use / application for this is to pad the side of my knee while racing my car at the track. Lateral g's while cornering lead me to brace my right leg against the center tunnel / console in the car. After a while the forces lead to bruising. This knee pad (only using one of the two) solves the issue for me. It's a straight cut / shape pad unlike some which are formed / profiled for a bent knee. This makes it much easier to rotate it 90° to the outside of my knee without any discomfort. It is a relatively thin pad. I think it's good for low impact activities. Anything like volleyball where you might be falling to your knees it's likely too think of a pad. For working outdoors I don't think the outer material will stand up to abrasion. Grass, OK. Rocks, dirt, brick, concrete, NO.

Well made and comfy knee pad
I bought these for my employees to wear while shooting corporate video events on long days. We kneel a ton and the cement floors start to feel like razor blades if you don't have some sort of protection. We ended up buying double the amount that we needed because we figured there was only 1 pad in each case. So for the price we were surprised when we had more then we needed. A good surprise because they are quite nice and I would have def bought some more for the rest of our team. The pads are nice and comfy to wear for long periods of time. They dont seem to dig into the back of the knee like other pads we have tried. There is sufficient padding for our needs without the pads being bulky or limiting movement.Good quality, good protection, worth double the the price.

Great buy
Can't complain, this feels like a quality product. They come in a pack of 2 so you don't have to order separate 2 packages. It's tall enough to cover your lower knee. It's flexible and slim but the padding is sufficient to protect you. I personally wash my protective equipment like this by hand right after each game which I think will make it last longer but as I said the quality on this seems good enough to put into a washing machine.

... using this for awhile now and the quality is great. It hasn't ripped and holds up
I have been using this for awhile now and the quality is great. It hasn't ripped and holds up. I use it for my knees and I do find it a bit tight for the size even after measuring my legs. I had to try to stretch them out.I use these for house work and they do not shift or move around.I give it 5/5 because of its comfort and quality.

Great
Great pads for medium work.I am a painter and I use this when I have to work on my knees, I would not recommend for someone like a flooring all day every day but it is fantastic for my purpose. Also, lite weight and fits under your pants, as mentioned in prior reviews, Get a size larger than you would think, I did and I am glad, they are snug.

Bow down.
light and simple knee pads great for work too. I wear them under jeans for construction and it helps me get through the day kneeling down consistently. I have a pair of outer wear hard type knee pads which aren't as comfy on the movement level. Less padding than other plastic type ones but good for sports or light kneeling.

Amazing
I love McDavid products and this is a perfect example of why. I use these knee pads for football and they give way more protection than what are commonly used. they fit perfect and don't slide around at all. Great product, have recommended these to many teammates.

Not durable at all.
Comfortable. Good looking. But HORRIBLY non-durable. A single volleyball game has these starting to give. After 3 games, they're full of holes. Worst wearing knee pads I've ever had. Don't bother, at least for volleyball.

Great set
Great set of knee pads if you're constantly running (ie. basketball) and will - on occasion - go on your knees. I would NOT recommend these pads for volleyball, floorball goalies, or any activity where you are constantly on your knees and require maximum support.
