My cats love this brush. I have two british shorthairs that shed an incredible amount. They have short fine fur that slips through the teeth of most brushes but they still manage to drop a huge amount of fur. This brush is surprisingly effective at thinning out the fluff and I come away with cat-sized clumps of fur every time I use it.It has a nice heft to it and it feels heavy but balanced in the hand, like it's made to last. The plastic blade guard it comes with is rubbish. It always falls off. I've had to use a rubber band to hold it on. It doesn't really effect the functionality of the brush so I didn't dock any points.You need to be careful when using it - try to barely pull it through their fur. My wife likes to push on it like she's shaving the cat so they run away but they like it when I brush them. My female cat never liked being brushed before this but now she'll wait for hours to be groomed. I'm sorry to say I had given up brushing her with the other two brushes we have (because they don't work on her) so she always had a dirty matted coat and I just assumed she was a habitually grumpy cat. Since I've used this brush her coat is smoother and cleaner than ever and surprisingly, she's friendlier and happier than she ever was before.

This product works! I was amazed, it is a great quality sturdy and has an easy handle. I have a 9month old long hair GSD and he is starting to shed, I used a detangler before the deshedding brush and wow! He looks so much sleeker, I am now a believer of this product, I have tried other deshedders with curved teeth and it got stuck on the hairs of my GSD that was a mistake. But then I heard about the Furminator which was waaaayyyy too expensive, this Pawty World deshedding tool is perfect for me. It was a smooth brush for my GSD and I will happily continue to use it, even though my doggie can't stay still! Definitely happy with the results, he's no longer a hair ball.

We recently have a new kitten and he is quite the little fur ball. He is an exotic shorthair and while kittens don't shed all that much, as my little guy grows he shedding more and more. I ordered this pet comb and it was shipped and received within a couple of days. It looks exactly as pictured and has a nice heavy weight to it. I think the look itself is rather sleek, not that it should matter for a cat comb, but if you are going to be a cat person, you might as well look as cool as possible. The functionality is on point. It has short, sharp, stainless steel tongs that glide through my kitten's hair a desheds like a champ. A nice added touch is the plastic cover to keep the tongs from getting dull. I love this product and I feel like it was made to last.

Appears to be well made and feels very nice in hand. I used it today on Gracie- My very hairy Jack Russell and Westie mix. I’m happy to report that she didn’t seem to mind being brushed with it and I couldn’t believe how much hair it removes.Gracie actually looks like she lost 5 pounds and her coat is extra shiny and feels great! I’m hoping this will not only help with excess hair around the house, but also keep her cooler while playing at the park. I would definitely recommend this product.

Excellent deshedding comb. My kittens did not like it at first, but I kept at it everyday because it does a great job removing the shedding undercoat. Now they are used to the comb. One kitten tolerates it. I have to hold her to comb her, but she no longer cries, scratches, hisses. Her sister loves it. She not only stays in place, she moves and positions herself so that the comb can reach all areas of her body (except her legs - she does not like it to touch her legs).

Removes excess hair from your dog that you didn't know they had until you clean your floors! The dogs love it! Doesn't cut them. You can even use it on furniute (carefully) to remove hair. I like that it's easy to clean hair off of it to continue brushing, unlike a regular dog brush or the furminator. Besides, it's all metal! You definitely get your money worth with this brush!

Really works great for removing the hair from my husky mix. Cant believe how much hair was removed. Love the stainless steel durable handle Im tired of everything having rubber handles. The guard is nice idea tho it doesnt stay on but i keep it in original package for safety. Very sharp and great price compared to the furm--inator brandwhich I have used but couldnt see spending that much buy this one instead it wont disappoint.
