Delicious!
Delicious! Can’t find in any stores near me, so it’s great to be able to get it. Nice to have special treats for the holidays.

Great product
Product arrived in a timely fashion and was excellently packed and protected. (multiple cold packs included) with instructions to keep refrigerated. Product was in very good condition and not overly salted... after all it is labeled as roe and not caviar, which tends to be much saltier. I also question as to whether my jar might be mis-labeled, as the eggs are noticeably smaller (more like flying fish roe) than other lumpfish eggs (black) I have seen. I am not complaining, as they are perfect for my sushi applications. Will buy again.

Flying fish roe is mush better than this
Skip this one. It's too soft, too bland, and too salty. Buy flying fish roe if you want something tasty.

Reasonable buy for the money
I'm not complaining. I use this to make blini and drizzle over soft-scrambled eggs. It used to be 25% less. At least it hasn't gone up the same percentage as eggs and gas. Was delivered on time and was very well wrapped.

Red. Very, very red.
The flavor is mild with more of a "squish" than a "pop" but overall acceptable for the price. The off-putting thing, however, is the violently red color that uniformly saturates everything in the jar. When I was a child my mother made "Harvard beets" a sort of sweet-and-sour beets with tiny, shiny red beet cubes suspended in bright red sauce. This product is (visually) the Harvard beets of caviar. Tiny, shiny pearls of roe suspended in... some kind of red fluid. I believe it's true that "we eat first with our eyes" and I I'm not 'dying' to eat this product again.

Good Flavor, light, fresh, slight pop.
I'm by no means qualified to judge caviar, but I do enjoy it. I usually buy Season Caviar Black Capelin. So I was leery about this, because it hadn't been reviewed. I bought both this and the Black. I found both to be as tasteful as the Capelin. The caviar is small row. Mild in taste. And a product of Denmark. Capelin is Icelandic Caviar. And side by side they taste the same. The Agustson Red contains Red#40 & Red#3 & Yellow#6 to give it it's color. It like other Caviar does contain a preservative and holds up well in the frig. I've shared this with guests and so far everyone has enjoyed it with Cream Cheese, Lox and crackers. One thing about this Caviar in comparison to say a Romanoff type caviar typically found in grocery stores is, that it's not oily or too salty. And it's mild flavored. I definitely would recommend this if you enjoy caviar. 12 ounces for $25.00.. Give it a try. Fast delivery.
