I ordered this soap because I like to exfoliate once or twice a week. I've been very pleased.The soap is, just as in the picture, an attractive egg shape. It has 'bits' in it similar to the old-fashioned oatmeal soap that my Nana used to use. It has a pleasant rose scent, even after some six weeks. It produces a moderate lather.I have found this soap extremely effective. I use it with care, as with all exfoliating products, and have not suffered any ill effects as described in some reviews. My skin is dry and post-menopausal but not exceptionally fragile, and using this soap twice per week I'm seeing a definite soft, blooming effect on arms and thighs. I use it with great care on my face also.For a hand-made, vegan soap I would rate the price as acceptable and, as I don't use it every day, it's lasting well.I shall buy this product again.

Bought for my partner.. she really loves this soap, especially the rose type, so it's an easy stocking filler or birthday addition. She likes the ergo design as well as the fragrance and the soap itself.

This is the best soap I've ever used. Makes you feel really clean without drying out your skin. Smells gorgeous and leathers up really nicely like shower cream. I have very dry and itchy skin due to stretch marks and I find the exfoliating bits helps a lot and feel nice, not too much or too scratchy. Will be buying regularly.

This soap was harsher than expected for a body exfoliator/scrub. I would not recommend it if you have sensitive skin or other conditions such as eczema because it will tear your skin apart during the process. Additionally, do not use this on your FACE or other sensitive areas (armpits may be OK).I initially scrubbed my body using the curved side of the egg, which was far more prickly than expected for a body exfoliator/scrub. I recommend using the flat side (it's also easier/more comfortable to handle). If you want to try this soap, be gentle and slow because it will hurt. This isn't preferable if you want a quick shower, but it is a great addition to pamper routines.On the other hand, it smells great and works like a charm for scrubbing off all excess antiperspirant/deodorant, sweat, and dead skin cells. I always leave my daily hot showers smelling beautiful with soft, revitalized skin. Be mindful that this brand has another soap that is safer to use and exfoliation unnecessary - just a top-up to pampering.I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others because it has its own risks and flaws. I hope my advice will guide others into reaping the same benefits I had without injury. I enjoyed this product and would definitely purchase it again. For new buyers - use with care. If you dislike it, please donate or recycle it (I suppose you could melt it and sift its abrasive content out).Conclusion; Soap made skin soft and scented at the cost of uncomfortable grazing. Not suitable for sensitive skin/areas.

So, I wanted an exfoliator to dislodge the ingrown hairs on my legs from years of shaving, liquid exfoliators like from lush just slide off as soon as I use them and I only want to exfoliate in the shower, this soap is perfect, it didn't take much usage to get down to the scrubbyness and it's really easy to hold when it's wet. Personally I'm not a massive fan of the scent as I tend to prefer citrus and mints, but it's not unpleasant by any means. I'll definitely be buying this soap again. Solid purchase, definitely recommend.

So far the best therapeutic scent in this soap. It smells of many flowers, maybe a combination of different types of roses. I realize that it's a rare type not found up the local high street. I'm not sure I agree with the soap being cheap, maybe cheaper than other handmade soaps. I will be buying it again. Sometimes when the price is cheaper than other soaps, it feels like a bargain one can continuously buy. Thanks for the email. I now know this soap is a bargain. Not that I hate very expensive soap, just that the producer cares more about our experience before the monetary profits.

I love this soap, really feel that it scrubs my skin. I understand some reviews have been scathing about just how rough it is, and yes for children or those with sensitive skin I would avoid this product. But I have been using this for a few months now and have really noticed a big difference in just how clean and smooth my skin is.Why only three stars?Look at the images I've posted. The soap box is very small, but the box it was delivered in was big. Could easily have fitted 20 soap boxes in there!Very poor show Amazon, extremely disappointed in the excessive packaging!
