Brilliant delay pedal
The looper function on the pedal is great to use and all the different types of delay sound amazing. Well worth the money for it and easy to use pedal.

Boss's best compact delay pedal by far
Within hours of receiving the Boss DD-8 my Waza Craft DM-2W was on eBay for sale. The Analog mode to my ears is even better than the DM-2 – darker, decaying repeats but without the distortion that the DM-2 has, although some may prefer that. The Warm mode is every bit as good as the fabled long-chip DD-2 – clear repeats but warm and rounded, without any digital sheen. Standard and Tape modes are also very good when the situation requires but if that wasn't enough, the Shimmer mode is really unique, and with a 40s looper and tap-tempo built in, you couldn't ask for any more from a compact delay pedal, especially with the Boss form factor and reliability.

Big sound!
My first delay pedal bought alongside the RV6 to use with my Roland Boutique synths. I couldn't justify the price of the Strymon Big Sky as lush as that sounds. For the price these pedals are fantastic and add the ambience I was looking for.

I have used delays for over 35 years and this is right up there. The variations on the theme are extraordinary. Absolutely lush and huge sounds achieved with little effort. I love this pedal

Un must have. Indispensabile in qualsiasi pedaliera. Boss una garanzia. Ottimi suoni e ampia possibilità di regolazioni. Preferisco i pedalini ad un multieffetto per la rapidità di regolazioni.

Ein Boss Pedal in gewohnt spitzenmässiger Qualität, sauber verarbeitet. Ein sehr vielseitiges Delay mit vielen Funktion inclusive taptempo...klasse. Das Gerät produziert einen Supersound und macht Laune. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen, wird aber wohl dank der hohen Qualität nicht sein müssen. Empfehlung!

Je cherchais une pédale pour embellir mon son clair et je l'ai adoré (malgré mon attirance pour les pédales analogiques haut de gamme). Je l'ai comparé à une MXR Carbon Copy que je n'avais pas aimé. La Boss DD8 : facile à régler, plusieurs sons exploitables (du simple habillage de son clair à un son nébuleux planant), une modulation super et même un petit looper. Son seul défaut est l'esthétique et le foot switch. Perso je préfère les footswitch en bouton / mais ce n'est pas rédhibitoire (car elle est restée sur mon pédalboard).
