I buy Bob's Red Mill Extra Thick Oats in bulk because they are high quality oats and the price point through Amazon is much better than the grocery store. Oats have become a healthy staple in our house because these oats are delicious. Unlike other oats I have purchased, Bob's Red Mill Extra Thick Oats are not powdery, they are robust and make great cookies, crumbles and porridge. Great for overnight oats too! You can't go wrong with Bob's products, but these oats are a personal favorite. They cook as fast as any oats and they taste rich and creamy. I use them in all my baking, even for recipes that call for quick oats and my baked goods are superb. Five stars for this premium product from an employee-owned company.

These are a great buy and since I learned about Chlormequat in oats this has become my go to organic source.

Only 4 stars as this did not have much OAT flavor. Very tiny firm oats with NO dust or broken pieces, so no slimy texture.I wished the oat grains were larger and they are chewy which is nice.
