Hope it’s not on your drivers side!
I’ve got a 2015 Dodge Charger R/T. It has the auto temp feature. Wish it didn’t but I guess it’s common these days. Anyway I’ve had 3 blend doors go bad so far the two on the passenger side and one on the drivers side. The passenger side is a fairly easy fix compared to the drivers side. In fact the drivers side is still broken as the whole dash board must be removed along with the steering wheel. Forget that mess! So half my hvac system blows hot, (drivers side) and the passenger side blows cold. I’ve lived with it for 2 years now. 5/22/2024. These are a direct replacement for the OEM blend doors and the work well. Half the price the dealer charges. Fixed the dreaded, “tic-tic-tic” noise.

Works.
It solved the clicking issue on a Chrysler 300. Five stars for the product. Negative five stars to chrysler for placing it behind the two rigid heater core pipes. Keep the kids in the house if you're tackling this yourself because they're gonna learn some new words.

Good direct replacement for my 11 Challenger

not for blend door purpose
this worked for challenger 2011 "Mode actuator" replacement, but did not work for "blend actuator"purpose. Be careful the blend actuator is a differen part number. Challenger does have 3 actuators and this one will work for 2 of them, but not for the blend: for blend you need to order different part number from Dorman.

Perfect Replacement
Started having the click of annoyance in my dash. There are 4 total under your dash. They all will go bye bye at some point. They are all the same. Buy 4 and get it over with. 2 are easy to reach on the passenger side. the driver side ones are a PITA to get to. You have to plug them in and startup your ACC powerr to have them turn. Each one has a keyway on the wheel that turns. When it lines up with the one you removed unplug it . That way you can replace them easily other wise the module won't line up to go back in. After installation the car will re learn on it's own up to 15 Restarts. Your Car will go thru multiple stages , feet, head, window etc. let it do it's thing. ALSO . DO NOT UNPLUG the PLUGS under the actuator on the passenger side. You can reach the far right one with a little finess. If you unplug the plugs under it NONE of the acuators will work AND your car will throw codes you have to reset with an advanced OBT Reader not the over the counter style. The codes are in debt and store in history. Safe yourself the headache and just unplug the actuator itself. You can find videos about the locations of all 4 of these actuators on youtube. Hope this helps

Failed/faulty components
I'm usually a big proponent of dorman products. I have bought their turbo chargers, intake manifolds, valve cover gaskets and have been pretty impressed with those components. But, I bought bought two actuators for my wife's 2012 charger in May 2024 and they seemed to work, but come October 2025 both actuators failed within roughly 2 weeks apart. I'm very disappointed with this dorman product and can only hope this is a one off as I have multiple other dorman products on all my vehicles.

Hopefully this one won't crap out like oem
So the photo you see is OEM. This was the reason I had to buy this to replace. The exterior plastic housing is bit slimmer than OEM, but all holes match up so as long as you can take the old one out it is very simple swap. It moves as it should no more "tictuctactic" noise, will see how long this one lasts😮💨 Works as advertised Fits without any modification My 🚗 2014 Dodge Charger Additional notes: Now my charger is gone due to an accident but prior to that I have noticed the actuator calibration wasn't working well, realized when I put the unit I did not turn 30-60degree and insert the unit, so it was once again ticking. After readjustment it worked perfectly. if yours are ticktickticccccing do recommend this unit for replacement.

Will work with exceptions
I have a 2016 Grand Caravan and these worked fine until I disconnected the battery! If you install them in the same orientation as the one that came out they will work! Once the battery is disconnected the system goes through a recalibration process where all the doors cycle and these would not pass that process and every time I would unlock the van or open the door the calibration process would repeat itself and the HVAC would not work until the process would complete. With these things failing as often as they do putting them through the extra cycles didn’t seem like a good idea. I found the OEM actuators on Amazon at half the price as the dealer wants put them in and the problem was solved. Also the Dorman brand comes with to instructions to calibrate them with an OBD2 gadget and the dealer didn’t even have that option! That being said to install them plug the new actuator in without installing it and turn your control knob all the way to cold and cycle the door in your vent work with the supplied tool that comes with the actuator till it’s blowing cold then install the actuator and never disconnect the battery!

Deje de escuchar el fastidioso ruido en mi Challenger a la hora de abrir la puerta, me parece un excelente precio, y fue 100 % compatible.
