BenQ TH585 1080p Gaming Projector, Low Input Lag for Gaming, 3500 Lumens High Brightness, Built-in 10W Speaker

After speaking to a Projector retailer, i decided to go for this gaming projector as i wanted to get the full potential out of my PS5, I wasn't disappointed, the image is absolutely stunning. There are a few minor details that i didn't like but can live with.PRO's -Image quality amazing for both gaming and movies3 gaming settings, RPG, FPS,SPSFan noise LowBuilt in APPs for streaming MoviesEasy to set up once in the correct positionOption to pay over 6/12 monthsCan project upto a 300" screenCONS -NO X,Y keystone for changing screen size, which means you need to get the projector in the exact position to match you screen which can be tricky.I had to buy a ceiling mount as the throw projects at an upward angle and not straightSpeaker volume not great but i have a small room so is enough for me, a larger room would need a soundbar.Turning off the projector takes about 2 mins to power off.The Price is high but you won't get a 4K 90" Tv for less than £1100Would i recommend this projector? YES, Although it has some cons, they don't outweigh the pro's.Before you buy i recommend that you study the projector scale so that it can be positioned in the right place as i said you can't change the screen size through the settings, screen size is determined from the distance you have projector from the screen

I buy a lot of projectors. I use them exclusively for TV and cinema in two rooms of my house and I've tried quite a few of the ones on Amazon before settling.While this isn't a projector I kept it certainly was one I wanted to. The picture is really massive for the throw distance and the best quality of all projectors I've seen and tried. Its fan noise is comparably very quiet and the overall look and feel is premium and brilliant.The reason I didn't keep it is that the throw angle means it needs to be roof mounted. Its possible to have it on a stand by severely angling it (and I was very tempted), or by having a much smaller picture and putting it on a table low and in front of the wall but you lose a lot of the reason for buying it.Correctly fitted this will fill an entire wall with gorgeous quality picture. If you can roof mount then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.

2 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:- THIS IS A BRILLIANST PROJECTOR FOR THE PRICE, EXCELLENT PICTURE, SOUND AND COLOUR QUALITY- NEVER BUY AN OPTOMA , YOU WILL HAVE A SCREEN FULL OF BLACK DOTS IN NO TIME AT ALL AND THEY WILL BE RUDE TO YOU WHEN YOU CONTACT THEM ABOUT IT.Stick to Benq or Epson.....genuine products and decent companies

I bought this as a main screen for the house. We mostly watch TV on devices and projector is used for movies and video games, which we only really do at night. The picture quality in a dark room is astounding, even projected directly onto a white wall. I wont bother getting a screen. Having worked in media for 20 years I wasn't overly hopefully and bought this as a "proof of concept" to see if a projector would work for us. Happy to say I am blown away. Even at a 2.75m wide image, quality is superb.In a lighter room (curtains drawn but with plenty of ambient light during day and a window without curtain in adjoining room) the image is still bright enough for games or regular TV. Dark images suffer compared to using it in a dark room though.Setup was trivial. About as plug and play as it gets. Unnoticeable input lag for games. If you intend to use this mostly at night or in a dark space, you will be extremely impressed. Top 5 lifetime purchase. 11/10. Would purchase again.

I had the benq th585 which was a great projector for the money, great colours, sharp image and the picture just popped with colour, problem was it was a long throw so i could only get around 80 inches screen size where i placed it in my room between 2.5 and 3 meters from the screen and also the projector had a pretty big border round the picture.This was not good enough and no good for my living room.I decided the get the th685 because of it being a 'short throw' not realising its a completely different lense and setup.colours are dull no matter what setting you mess with, colours are washed and there is no sharpness its blurry, i spent hours adjusting the picture only to get a slightly satisfactory picture.I could get around 91 inches screen size with my setup.I decided to keep the projector because there was nothing on the market with the same features or specs as the th685 for the same money (£650).Now my projector has developed white spotting which i am told is either dust trapped in the lense or housing or a faulty chip inside.Its still under warranty as it not even 10 month old so im not even gunna waste my time with it.As there is no other alternative for the same price as of the 4th january 2022 i am going to put more money to it and get a 4k benq projector (tk850).I wouldnt waste your time with the th685 its basic and boring,I would however buy the th585 if i had the space to get a 100inch screen out of it because of value for money.I ALSO RETURNED MY TK850 4K, FAULTY AFTER 23 DAYS!Colours all over the place, white lighting colours going blueish, blue spotting everywhere, avoid Benq projectors.Thanks for reading :)If this review helped you out in anyway please give it the thumbs up, many thanksLouis

Ich wollte mich nicht jedes Jahr darum kümmern, dass die Lampe ausgewechselt wird. Ich bin jetzt nach einem Halben Jahr so sowasvon zufrieden. Nach ein bisschen herumstellen ist die Schwarzlicht Bildqualität auch einfach perfekt. Meine Empfehlung für jeden 4k und 2k Gamer der auf Beamer umsteigen will.Einziges was ich mir noch wünschen würde ist die möglichkeit wie beim Acer Predator die 4 Corner Correction noch manuell zu verändern zu können.Tipp um schiefe Bilder zu vermeiden: Genaustens ausmessen! sonst ist das Bild trotz Trapezkorrektur schief.Sonst der Beste Beamer zum Zocken und fürs Heimkino!

Sehr guter Beamer, mit dem ich auf meiner Leinwand sehr schön Filme sehen kann. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Er hat nicht umsonst die besten Testergebnisse!
