Working great
Easy install with excellent directions. Hardest part of the installation was reinforcing the garage door in preparation for the install. Works very well so far. Overall I think it is reasonably quiet for a chain drive. I used this on 8 ft garage door without the extension kit and it opens the door 7 ft and 4 inches.

Faulty Motor. Impractical Chamberlain Solution
Summary: The motor in this product, something fundamental to the opener, might not work as designed. If they cannot get the motor right, what else is Chamberlain doing wrong?Detail: I purchased two the C253 (wifi enabled version of this opener) based on reviews that they were durable and easy to instal. One works great! I am happy with it. The other has a faulty motor that makes a very loud grinding noise. I have isolated the noise to inside the motor.I installed myself and was VERY careful to follow all instructions. Before I reached out to Chamberlain I followed all trouble shooting on their site relating to this issue. After finding no solution myself, I reached out to Chamberlain (side note, initial response time was 72hrs as opposed to the advertised 48).After a couple emails back and forth, and them asking me to do further troubleshooting, they finally agreed the motor in the unit was the issue.Given that the motor, is the most important part of the opener, I expected them to replace it, and told them so.Chamberlain responded saying that their warranty policy only covers replacement of parts, not the full opener. I understand this policy as applied to missing parts, broken plastic, etc. However, it would seem core components such as electronics and motor should be considered fundamental to their product.Consider this when buying: The motor in this product, something fundamental to the opener, might not work as designed. If they cannot get the motor right, what else is Chamberlain doing wrong?

OK, but . . .
I found this opener easy to install . It worked well for about six monthsThe push button failed in six months. The push button is overly complicated as it has a circuit board on the back that failed in the rain. Remote still works well.
