Safety 1st Parent Grip Door Knob Covers, Grey/Charcoal, 4 Count (Pack of 1)

This is just what I needed to keep my 150 pound 3 year old from venturing outside. My sweetheart with advanced Alzheimer's would not stay in the house no matter how cold it was outside. He constantly thinks someone is coming to pick him up and take him home. He goes outside in his underwear and sock feet, walks around the house and last Monday wrapped his blanket around him and took off across the front yard saying he was walking home. He has lived with me for 8 years and I'm his sole caregiver. I had ordered these last Sunday and thankfully they were delivered Monday. I snapped them on the front and back door knobs and so far, problem solved. He will stand in front of the door for hours trying to figure them out, but so far, he hasn't escaped.

These work great! They are a little big for our door knobs but that’s what I like about them because I feel like it makes it even harder for my toddlers to be able to try opening the door. When we have guest come over that are adults they even have a hard time figuring out how to open the door so we have to open it for them. Very happy with the security of safety that these bring for our children so that we do not have to worry about them opening up certain doors unsupervised. I also love the color!

Easy to install and definitely works to keep my toddler inside and safe. We joke that they are ‘Grammy proof’ because my mom sometimes has a hard time with them, but my husband and I, who use them daily, find them easy to grip. Great quality and goes well with our dark door hardware.

Works good. Gave four stars bc of how hard it was to get them open for installation and to open the doors. Probably takes some getting used to but definitely does the job at keeping little ones from opening doors.

I'll start off by saying with 4 young grandchildren, our house has been baby-proofed. However, our youngest grandson started walking a few months ago and he can now reach the doorknob to the basement. I don't want to think about what could happen if he got that door open if my wife and I were in another room. This give us peace of mind so when that one time we're out of the room he attempts to head to the basement!

I like the grey option to blend in a little better with the door knob instead of the obvious white ones. My daughter started opening doors and we put these on and she cannot figure them out thankfully!

It does what it is supposed to do very well. My little escape artist cannot figure these out so I give it 5 stars.

These are good they do work they can be a little hard to take apart at first but once you get it they will work! Definitely recommend if you have a explorative kids.
