Great Value - Easy Install - Fits 2005 Camry - 16860 Radio - Durability ???
NOTE: If you have the 16860 radio you'll need the 12 pin square shapped connector which I received when purchased under this listing. The first unit I ordered under a different Amazon listing had a larger rectangular connector. Easy Installation: Pulled climate control trim panel with inexpensive panel tool from Harbor Freight. Could just as easily have used a butter knife to pop free from retaining clips. Four screws hold radio itself in but I was able to connect the unit without pulling the radio by feeling around to find port on back of radio. Small mirror and flashlight help. Time will tell if it's durable. Bought a similar device a while back for a 2006 Honda but paid closer to $100.00. If this unit holds up it's a bargain at about $25.00.

Works great
This is basically the same thing as the GTA Car Kit, which is about $100 (for a Toyota, not sure about other cars) and comes packaged with some other things you might need for installation. This is much cheaper and does the job. Use the instructional videos from GTA Car Kit (http://www.gtacarkits.com/product-category/iphone-aux-car-kit/) and it's pretty painless. As other reviewers have mentioned, it occasionally doesn't recognize that there's an ipod plugged in when the car starts, but all it takes to fix that is to unplug and replug it, so it's really not a problem. And a user should not expect this system to stop their ipod from playing when the car turns off; it doesn't do that.

Easy to hookup and enjoy!
I just installed this in my 2005 Tundra Doublecab. I have the in dash 6disc changer by JBL. It was very easy to install and setup. I wish I did this years ago. I used my old iPhone, cleaned it out and stored my fav music on iTunes. Works perfectly.Cords are long enough to route it anywhere in the vehicle dash. I retain the use of the cd changer, just press CD once for the changer, another press for the iPhone/iPod.I mounted my iPhone where I can see the display of what is playing. It doesn't show the text of the song titles on the Toyota screen. All in all it's great for the money and gives you flexibility on what to listen to.A++

Easy way to play Ipod in Tundra and easy DIY
Used this on my 2007 Tundra and it works great considering the limited options for integrating an Apple product with my system. Once you pull the stereo off it simply plugs into the back and you have to close everything up. I drilled a little hole in my console near the cupholders where the wire can feed out and plug in my old Ipod. No more dealing with CDs

Effortless Install!
I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma access cab 4x4. This was literally plug-and-play! A simple YouTube video tells you how to access the back of the radio using simple tools and there is a ton of room to run the wires. I kept my old 32gb iphone 4s after I upgraded and now use it solely for music. I have 1000's of songs stored on it and no longer have need for my regular stereo. Easy to install, sounds great, and charges my 4s while i'm driving, so there is no need to take it out of the truck. This is a fantastic device. I recommend it to any Yota Drivers out there!

Works well, integrates easy.
I bought this for my wife's 2005 Toyota Corolla (radio face-plate A51814). The in-dash 6-disc CD player died on the car and I was a little worried it wouldn't work without the player still intact, but it works just fine with the player portion of the radio completely removed. The only difference is the CD button only switches to this device now instead of toggling between the two. I completely removed the CD portion of the radio when I pulled it to prevent anyone from getting their CDs stuck in the malfunctioning player. Others have said it works with both if your in-dash CD player still works. The sound quality is quite good (as good as it gets with the stock equipment) with the iPod connection. The quality from the headphone jack isn't quite as good on most tracks, though seems great on others. I find the volume needs to go a little higher with the headphone jack than with the radio or the iPod connection, even with the volume cranked on the phone itself. That makes me think the player itself (an android phone) and the songs' recording quality is more to blame than the device. Either way, it's still much better than the FM modulator we were using before and worth the $20 difference between this and a super cheap FM modulator. Plus you don't have to fish around for unused radio bands while on road trips as new radio stations come in and out. The module literally just plugs in, but of course getting to the plug is the issue. Even then, it was quite easy to install, and there are several helpful videos on YouTube that show how to pull the dash and get back there. Where to put the cords is limited to your imagination (they're plenty long to give you options), but I found sneaking them between the center console plastic and the carpet on the passenger's side makes for a convenient hook-up point without drilling holes. Plug in and drop the phone in the cup-holder and go.

Works and is economical
Bought for a 2007 Tacoma with factory deck. Install was very easy, and ran the cord from center console under the shifter area, up and behind the radio. Plugged in the CD changer input.I'm using an iPhone 4S and I'm able to control the music from my steering wheel. I don't get a text display other than CD and track number, but I can tell what song is playing easy enough by looking at the freakin' phone. Charging function works as advertised. Also, I've been able to play Pandora radio, get sound from youtube videos, and listen to podcasts. With Pandora, the skip track button on my steering wheel even kicked it to the next track. Awesome! I'm not sure what the other reviewer's complaints are all about. Mine works fine.
