Pramoderm HC Spray - Itch Relief with Pramoxine and Hydrocortisone 1% - 8 oz.

My mom's "adopted" dog came with a skin problem because of the previous owner's neglect and she'd be constantly scratching leaving red and inflamed areas on her body. The vet initially gave her some oral medication to take care of the itching but I didn't want to rely solely on oral steroids because they can create additional problems for the animal internally. Even after completing the pills, she was still itchy so I decided to order the spray. We received it and immediately tried it on her. To our delight, she stopped scratching. As with all dogs, she started licking the sprayed areas but have not seen any side effects from that. She sleeps comfortably and soundly now and most of the fur on her entire body has grown back.

I used this on both my dogs and it works great!!!They got immediate relief!As with any medication, it your dogs gets a rash, like I read in another review, take him to the vet, as not all infections are the same!I couldn"t be more pleased. I even sprayed it in my dog"s ears after I used an ear cleansing product, and my dog looked so relieved from the constant itching!!!It helps first, if using it in the ears, to ALWAYS use a cleansing ear rinse first to remove the dirt and other debris.Then use the Pramoderm spray to heal the inflammation and prevent further itching.

Nice lotion for minor skin issues. Worked very well. Manufacturer sent complimentary second bottle and I gave it to a friend with skin problems. He was happy.

Good product

Even my tempermental Corgi does not mind me spraying her little paws with this stuff and it really works...I have two Corgi's but only one has grass allergies and gets itchy feet...This stuff really stops the itch and lets her paws heal...I had tried several products and even went to the vets for stuff but nothing worked like this did...

Be VERY careful with this product as there is something in it which actually made my dog's rash worse! I was using Genesis Spray which worked great but I wanted something over the counter so I didn't have to keep going back to the vet for prescriptions. I read the reviews and was very hopeful this would work however after only a couple of days, I noticed the area where I was spraying turned bright red and was becomed inflamed. I immediately stopped and used the Genesis again and luckily today the skin looks like it is starting to heal. Not sure what the problem is with this spray but I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Works just as good as the stuff we got from the vet it has the same ingredients half the price

Cleared up my dog's "hot spot" in one application. I purchased my first bottle at my vet's office for $35. Now I buy them from Amazon for $12. At that price, we keep bottles at home, at the office, and in he car.
