The Aubin Academy Revit Architecture: 2016 and beyond

Paul Aubin’s textbooks are by far the best. Mr. Aubin’s teaching style is not a point-and-click approach but real world exercises that teach you a revised workflow that utilizes Revit software tools. Even though this book Is for Revit 2016, most Revit features haven’t changed enough to bypass this exceptional Revit textbook. I’m also taking Mr. Aubin’s LinkedIn Learning classes that are on Revit 2020 to pick up any additional features on the newer 2020 release.

As a Revit user that has been away from the program for a few years this book fit the bill as a refresher for me. I am using Revit 2019 LT, so some of the info was not pertinent so I skipped a few areas. Book is well written and easy to follow for the most part and has many helpful tips to speed up my productivity.

This book is huge and at first intimidating as the author knows plenty and is not afraid to dive deep on the tools that are available through Revit. However, his illustrations are bar-none clean and the text follows the illustrations in an insanely clear matter. This author also includes plenty of software to work the examples for each Chapter. I am extremely impressed with the author and having read 1/8 of the total book, I can tell the remaining portion will be just as fun! Hope this helps someone out there.

Well set out material , especially from a first time user like me . My main purchace decision was to establish how to take a 3D model of our product and build a revit library family member for sending to architects and this is still a work in progress

Great resource!! Appreciate the data sets to easily follow along. Love Paul's training style and ability to break down to bite size pieces to understand and put in to a workflow that makes sense. I recommend this to anyone new to Revit and for Intermediate Levels. Sometimes you just don't know what you don't know. Paul is very thorough!

It doesn't look like this can be opened in the Kindle Cloud app - which means only in the PC app so here is no side by side 2 page view. Hard to use a text book with only singe page viewing . I just want to expand on this - the lack of display options in the Kindle version is really disappointing, it's really unfair to sell the kindle version at 39.99 when it lacks basic features.

This book is exactly what I'd been hoping to find; a clear streamlined process to create projects. There are a few cases where the directions aren't as user-friendly as needed but most of them I just needed to slow down and read ALL the text.

I used this book in my introductory college class on Revit. It was a perfect introduction to this rather complex program. We found very few errors and the students were able to work through most of it without needing to be "rescued".

Well, I hated the experience, although I can't comment on the book. When I tried to open this on my £319 All New Kindle Oasis reader I received the cool message, 'Unavailable for Download....The Item is not Compatible with this Device.'Of course, this is an Amazon customer serivices problem, but they never got back to me after I complained that around 25 per cent of the content of Revit Architecture 2017 No Experience Required was omitted from the Kindle version.I'd suggest you consider whether you have time for headaches like this before purchasing.

incredible this book has it all most are project based task's i would say this is the only book you will ever need on revit covers everything one negative its not in colour which is a shame aprt from that its perfect

Ho comprato questo libro per imparare ad usare Revit Architecture. Ho comprato la versione Kindle che risulta molto comoda dato che durante l’utilizzo del programma apro in concomitanza su pc il manuale. Il manuale è fatto in modo esemplare e ti aiuta con esercizi, file e quant’altro. Le spiegazioni sono molto dettagliate e ti segue passo dopo passo. Sono molto contento dell’acquisto.
