Wireless Door/Window Sensor - for The Smart Wi-Fi Alarm System from Big Easy Security

I ordered this system not knowing what I was getting into. A development in my family made me purchase a home security system. I looked at the smart wi-fi alarm system, because it was relatively inexpensive and looked like it would be easy to set up. I ordered it and within a few days it arrived. It came with everything that it said it would and in great working order. At first the instructions were some what difficult for me to figure out. I am not a genius when it comes to these tech gadgets. I put it together as best I could, but I had some difficulty with the written instructions. I called the company and talked to, "Randy". What a great surprise. He was extremely helpful and got me to their," you tube", set up video to look at their on line instructions. After watching the video, it was a piece of cake. I realized that I needed 6 more door sensors, so I called Randy back. Again, he was extremely helpful. I went on line and ordered the additional sensors. They came in a couple of days. I called Randy back for some additional instruction's. Again he was very helpful. I apologized for sounding like and techno idiot. He laughed and told me not to fret that he was there to help. We stayed on the phone and talked about many things. It was like I was one of the family. Long and short of it, the system I purchased works wonderfully. I am very satisfied with their product and overly satisfied with their customer service. I will recommend this product and the company to anyone interested in an alarm system. My other family members will be contacting Randy for future purchases. Great product.

I purchased this alarm system for something to let us know if someone broke in and to give a little peace of mind if we're at home alone. I would give this a 3.5 if I could.Pros1.Easy setup. It can get a little difficult if you're setting it up to more than one phone.2. There are more than enough sensors3. Webcam setup4. Quick response when alarm is triggered5. Still works for a time of its unplugged.Cons1. Alarm is not loud. You will need to buy a separate horn and connect it for a loud siren.2. If electricity goes out, alarm can't alert you. It would be nice if it alerted you to tell you the internet connection is disconnected.3. Alarm can just be turned off if burglars are hip to it. Turns off alarm siren.4. No way to deactivate alarm at base, if you don't have remote or phone will have to turn it off and set it back up with the internet. Which can be difficult.5. Instructions are very, very limited.My biggest issue with it was the trouble it gave me at first. The alarm kept going off on its own. It would wake us up in the middle of the night with some random trigger code. It took me months to figure out that one of the batteries in one of the magnetic alarms was low. No way to tell which one. Changed them all and works fine. If you buy this, swap batteries out before connecting to avoid that.Overall, I give this 4 stars because it's good for what we need it for. It's not going to prevent someone from breaking in. It might even scare the novice burglar from stealing your stuff. At the very least it will let you know someone is trying to get in. Our home is fairly big and can feel even bigger when there is only one person home. Overall, once it finally worked correctly it's a decent alarm system for what it costs.

First off shipping was only 2 days very awesome. After using this and messing with this for about 2 hours I am not impressed at all. Cameras drop off after hooking them up to the WiFi and the video is not 720p by any means and I am using the in home WiFi to view them when it was hooked up. The over all quality of the product is poor you have to use a 3rd party app from China. I was pumped when reading the reviews. Only to be disappointed. I went to try and return this but amazon says I can’t because it contains flammable items.

After an extensive research i purchased the Big Easy Security. A majority of the reviews were positive. This product came with missing sensors. I watched the YouTube videos, followed the instructions but it wont connect to my 2.4G Wifi. After 3 days of trying and following the instructions carefully with no success i called the 1-800-208-1528. Made several calls with no return phone call. BTW it says on the instructions with a smiley face that you can call anytime. Not true- they are only available 9a to 6pm or something like that. Frustrated i boxed it up ready to return, then i got a call from someone named Randy, who really did not have any advanced instructions to help. He stated the product only works 94% of the time. He asked me if i had used the sensors by sticking them on the windows which i did as part of the process. Apparently" the stickers cost them lot of money". He said. Hello! I paid for the defective product. Randy asked not to leave a NEGATIVE review but i would have never purchased this item if i had read an honest review from someone who had a similar experience.
