Maternity Shapewear for Women - Breathable & Anti-Chafing Pregnancy Shapewear for Belly, Back- Maternity Underwear

I am 5'8" and wear a size 14 and am currently 6 months pregnant. I ordered a pair of these in a large and they fit perfectly with room to spare in the tummy area as my bump continues to grow over the final trimester. When I bought these I also decided to try a similar product made and sold by Spanx here on Amazon. Pre-pregnancy I was a go-to Spanx girl but the price and reviews of the Belavation shapewear convinced me to give it a try. As much as I like my Spanx, I have to confess that the Belevation maternity shapeware are my go-to baby belly-shaping item. The Belevation material is much softer and stretchier, making it loads more comfortable. Despite all of the stretch, it still manages to give just the right amount of support to my bump. The material is also more durable than the Spanx so I can quickly tug it on and off during bathroom breaks without having to worry about ripping a hole in it the way I do with the Spanx. Plus the Belevation shapewear is more affordable so I was able to purchase several pairs without leaving as big a dent in my wallet. It was about 30% cheaper than the Spanx when I bought it.Maternity Spanx:The belly area in the Spanx is not as supportive as I would have liked because it is made out of a sheer stocking-like material. I have not had a problem with the material running or catching on anything even after multiple wears and washes. Since the material is very thin, I take extra care when I'm pulling this on or off. My biggest complaint about these is that they don't have the convenient slit between the legs that normal spanx do. Be prepared to pull these things up and down each of the 50,000 times you go to the bathroom every day. The other down side to the material being so thin is that it does not provide any support at all and very letting smoothing of the bump (though there is plenty of support everywhere else). I don't want my bump to be constricted but some small amount of support would have been nice on the front.

I don’t EVER write reviews, but I feel like this absolutely deserves one!! It has been a life saver for the warm spring and hot summer days. Prevents chaffing between thighs. Huge problem for me. Perfect and seamless under any summer or tight fitted dress (that is, if you get the right size) i ordered a medium when I was about 6months pregnant and now that I’m 8.5 months pregnant it still fits me amazingly well. I am 5’7” and 177lbs right now. Pre pregnancy I was 145lbs.It holds up really well in the wash, does not fray or rip. I’ve washed it more times than I can count because it’s my go to for under my dresses and i live in dresses right now. No time for pants. It’s light and breathable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Worth every penny.Bonus: it provides a bit of support for your belly. Nothing extreme. Don’t expect the same support out of this that you would get out of a support belly band.

These are a must-have for any expecting mama! I own two different brands, this one and then I also have a pair of  ASSETS by Sara Blakely Marvelous Mama Unbelievable Underwear, 3, Nude . Although I wear both of them, the pair by Belevation are so much more comfortable and much better fitting.The Belevation brand are a nice smooth spandex material that slide on easily and aren't uncomfortably tight. The Assets brand are more like a cotton-blend/spandex feeling material and are much more difficult to get on and also more constricting (they feel more like a compression short). The Belevation shapewear have a nice stretchy section for your pregnant belly, and then a section of spandex underneath that spans the bottom section of you belly and up the sides and offers a nice slight support.This shapewear is perfect creating a nice smooth silhouette underneath clothing, offering a little bit of support for your belly, and also preventing chafing. It also helps to boost my confidence because I don't feel quite as "jiggly" when I'm wearing them and it allows me to wear cute form-fitting business casual dresses to work. I'm 5'3" and weighed 150lbs pre-pregnancy and the size medium fit me perfectly.

I know that there are more than a few posts about this shapewear but y'all! I just got mine in the mail yesterday and I'm like " can I wear this postpartum? Highly considering buying this for my wedding dress😩😂 It's everything. I have it in this color and in a size 2x and it is soooo comfortable I didn't even want to take it off after tying it on. It was easy to put on, rounded out my belly and looked great under my baby shower dress that also came from Amazon! I'm about 5'2 And 332 lbs and 31+3. It's so worth it to try. And it comes UP. I could pull it up over my boobs it has that much stretch to it. It's supportive and it doesn't roll down, bunch up or chaffe or leave marks on my legs and thighs. Mamas GET THIS! you won't be disappointed.

They definitely offer a good amount of support and shaping. With them on you can definitely tell I am pregnant!I waiver between a 2x/3x depending on the store, but carry most of my weight in my midsection so I got the 3x and they fit great!

Loved the extra support and comfortable smooth feeling. Worn on my wedding day (26 weeks) and beyond while still cycling and walking a decent bit.However, by about 34 weeks I started finding them itchy / tight where the top sits along my bump. I have gained a lot of mainly bump weight and these just couldnt cope with that expansion.I think I may wear them for a short while post birth if I feel like the extra support would be nice.

These are very stretchy and comfortable, great for smoothing very slight flabby wobbles (did nothing for my B-belly unfortunately) and for the thighs under a dress on a hot day.They're not very shaping at all - but the flip side of that is that you don't have to worry about baby being constricted inappropriately and what is more important really?

I wasn't sure when I ordered these if they would work, but they have quickly become one of my favorite items to wear. I prefer them to underwear and as promised are breathable and great under dresses. They fall into place, never need adjusting during the day, and give some added support to your belly button and stomach muscles. I'd re-order several pairs if you had more - please bring them back soon!!!
