Hindsight

I enjoyed this film with one of my favorite Korean actors, Song Kang-Ho, in the male lead but I did not think it was one of his best movies. The synopsis of the movie is pretty much as it is stated above on the Amazon page. I found it very slow moving at times so maybe some things could have been edited out so that it was paced better. The girl who played the lead in this film, Shin Sae-kyung, seemed fairly emotionless throughout as though she was in some type of perpetual euthymic state. I did not really feel any chemistry between Song's character and the girl's character. She plays a sharpshooter who befriends Song and you are never quite sure if she will kill Song's character until the very end. Most of the action takes place in the second half of the movie with Song trying to evade getting shot as he is framed for something he did not do by the mob he once belonged to. There is an interesting and well filmed knife fight and a car chase in the farmlands of Korea in the second half. The ending of the movie is a definite surprise but somehow did not really seem to fit in with the rest of the movie. I found the movie just ok to watch. Song, as always, is gorgeous but this is supposed to be a thriller and really it was not all that thrilling. The cinematography was good. Probably a better movie to rent than to buy.

Main difference is, the heroine wants to kill the hero. Great fun!

I'm a huge fan of Shin Se Kyung and this movie didn't disappoint. Plenty of action and liked the chemistry between the lead characters. Recommend highly.

Great movie.

This film may not be his best, but whether a retired-gangster, coke-dealer-extraordinaire, disheveled cop-on-the-case, under-dog-attorney, period-piece-face-reader, Kang-ho's films are always worth seeking out. Cannot figure out why this is not available to stream ... we here in the U.S. have some strange relationship when it comes to access to Asian films. Kang-ho Song, Lee Byung, and others are under-utilized in films made in the West as well. This film, by the way, was originally released in 2011, so I am not quite getting what Amazon means by it being a 2017 film ... you can still find a few dvds of this film here though. Buy it, pass it around to your friends ;-))

ずっと年の離れた女の子を、自分を殺しにきた暗殺者と知っても守ろうとするｿﾝ･ｶﾞﾝﾎさんがカッコいい。ベタな映画かと思ったけど。いや、面白かった。時にはコミカルで、腹心の部下とのやり取りもクスッと笑わせてくれる。ソン・ガンホさんってこんな二枚目だった？と思うほど引き込まれる映画です。

シリアス系からお笑い系まで何でもこなす、ソン・ガンホ。結構、暗い内容ですが、最後はホッとさせてくれます。ここら辺はこの俳優さんの人柄がしっかり出てるのではないでしょうか。

ソン・ガンホとシン・セギョンの親子ほども違う2人のジレジレしたラブストーリー。ソン・ガンホはヤクザの姿と調理教室に通うおちゃめな姿のギャップがおもしろくて、さらに、要所要所に見せるコミカルなアドリブ風演技も、メリハリがきいて楽しかった。ハッピーエンドのシーンはいろいろ感じ方が違うだろうけど、個人的にはこの2人の恋を成就させてあげたかったから、こうなってよかったと思う。終始、テーマの「塩」がカギとなってて、死んだはずのドゥホンが塩で生き延びたーという設定もよかった。

なんだなんだ!?思ってたよりはかなり楽しめたじゃないか!(笑)実は韓国公開前の時点から既に「なんかベタでありふれててつまらなそ〜…」っていうイメージがあったもので(^-^;もちろん確かにベタでありふれた設定で新鮮味は何一つなかったけど、ベタでありふれた設定だからこその安定感がありましたね(^^)僕は面白ければ二番煎じでも何でも許せるクチなので(笑)ただ、あのラストはなに?なんなのいったい?僕は目が悪いから何か見落としたのだろ〜か?物凄くあっけらかんと終わっちゃったんですけど…もう一度観に行くほどのことでもないからDVDが出たら再確認はするけど、かなりのあっけらかんぶりにガックシでした。まぁ終盤はかなりベタベタだったので少し食傷気味だったのも輪をかけてラストのどん引きに繋がっちゃったんでしょうけどね(^-^;出演陣では、ソン・ガンホに関してははもはや言うまでもなく楽しませてもらったけど、やはり最大の目的であったシン・セギョンがやはりいい!若いのにエロセクシーやわぁ(爆)エピローグでは普通の女の子に戻ってしまってたけど(笑)あと、意外に良かったのがチョン・ジョンミョン!役どころの妙もあっただろうけど、本作での彼は個人的に好感持てました(^^)最後に、映像もやはり美しかったですね!ちなみに映像に関しては鑑賞前から期待してました(^^)

韓国版　レオンのような感じだったけど　女の子が子供じゃなかったのが　よかったです。ちょっぴり　優香ちゃんに似てるし．．．めずらしく　韓国映画には　めずらしい　終わり方だったので　ぜひ　観てもらいたいです。
