ClosetMaid Pantry Cabinet Cupboard with 2 Doors, Adjustable Shelves Standing, Storage for Kitchen, Laundry, or Utility Room, Espresso

We have had this for about 2-3 years now and we love it! It moved well from our apartment to our house, it was easy to assemble, has a good size storage capacity (I can fit all of our medical supplies on the top, snacks on the next shelf down, baking supplies on the 3d shelf and have room for overflow items such as cereals, and other boxed items on the bottom). The only issue is that the back is pretty flimsy so I accidentally has the backing unstick from one side because I overloaded it and pushed it too far backwards. This was an easy fix though. I’d highly recommend getting one of these if you need some space in your home. It is a little taller than me and I’m 5’4. The width is thin compared to a large wardrobe sized storage so it’s not too bulky for the kitchen or another small room.

This product was easy to assemble and looks great in my kitchen! It was an excellent purchase!

Product came on time, very well packaged. The assembly was very easy.

Very easy directions. Very easy to assemble. Clean and attractive . Bought 2 at first. Ordered another to complete my project.

For the one I got, the pilot holes for the door hinges on the bottom left, and the top right, were crumbling and disintegrating (It's particle board) so the screws they included weren't big enough to hole. One of the hinges was also broken. The shelves themselves are nice and strong though, and that's really what matters.

So this review will cover both this and a trend I notice as well as remedy for my issues for othersFirst off this product fit my needs perfect I had a space that was very small I needed to maximize closed storage as a American with American build housing I have a need for American sizes(most Chinese stuff when translated isnt exactly round ft for example most things like this I found on Amazon are like 4ft 8 and 5ft 2 for example which doesnt fit in my 5ft 0 space) this is why I choose this over the better pantry options on Amazon this is very basic with just a few shelves there isnt anything wrong with that as much as for the price vs other options is ultra expensive for little gained this however is why I rated it 2 stars not oneBuild qualityAbsolute trash, the wood is nice for the type it is(but the coating is very cheap), it seems like it would last long term if taken care of, everything else is junkThe screws are too small, the shelf holes are not aligned in some places, and the peg holes are too big, so the doors often come off, and the selves fall very easyThis came with missing pieces as well, it was missing more than a few pegs from the box I only had enough to put on peg on each side leaving the shelves very unstable(I realize this can happen but Ive never once experienced it myself and in reference to this order I made nothing else was missing pieces in fact very often I had more than one spare providedIf you buy this product bigger screws and pegs are a absolute need otherwise this will break very quicklyWhat I used was 12 1/2 inch screws for comparison the screws this comes with are 10 1/2 inch you have to use wider ones on the doors or they will just fall off they dont have to be 12 but the screws that come with this wont work, if you look on Amazon there are plenty of pegs for things like this very cheap I dont know if I can link stuff otherwise I would link what I gotAssemblyVery easy, it took me less than 20 mins by myself Im a very skilled diyer but even still if you can read and turn a screwdriver this will take no more than 30 mins to assembleAs this is a product review I will keep this part brief but when I ordered this I ordered more or less a "complete" set of furniture this is one of the few from a us brand, this is the ONLY thing Ive had issues with and in equivalence its also the most expensive items I had ordered and it saddens and sickens me I cannot comment on things like tvs or computers nor Chinese big brands but beyond that everything from electronics inc basics like cables and basic hw to furniture Ive noticed pretty much anything Chinese on Amazon is FAR superior and cheaper than ANYTHING American made or American branded in both expense and build quality and this item is a huge stand out which is why Im adding this, in equivalence this is almost 40 usd more than ANYTHING else I bought yet it was missing pieces, the build quality at best is meh and even though the wood itself might stand up to time the coating will not, its already peeling in some places and Ive only had it a few months, everything else I got(all Chinese) looks brand-new stillWith all this in mind by advice unless you are in need of a cabinet that is American sized stay far away from this and order one of the many better Chinese options while I cannot speak to their build quality personally from the trend Ive noticed, the cost and the value is worth it even if they have the same issues as this product does, for example there are loads of "pantries" with FAR better space utilization and storage options(such as in door storage, shelf organization build in, drawers, etc) that are far cheaper than this is but most are slightly under 4ft or slightly over 6ft
