Multi hole saw kit
This is a great kit, I have used it a lot drilling holes in plastic for hydrponics. It has all the useful sizes which are well made and sharp.I love the useful case.

Good selection
Needed a hole saw to cut a hole in some polycarbonate sheet to fit a cooker hood venting hose and this set offered the correct size I needed at a good price. The set comes in a useful carry case so is very easy to store. I was able cut through the polycarbonate with no problems, all the saw teeth seemed to be aligned correctly. I have since used a couple of the other saws to cut holes in wood, with mixed results - of course, the harder the material, the more difficult. Softwood timber was OK but I was surprised that laminate flooring planks posed a serious challenge - maybe that is made of harder wood than I thought. So whilst it performed well for its original purpose, I’m not sure that they will be that versatile when used on different materials.

Cheap. not too cheerful
You get what you pay for I guess. I needed to cut a few neat holes and decided to get this set of cheap hole cutters since they weren't going to get a lot of use and I didn't want to lay out big money on something more 'professional'. Well here's the thing: not all the cutters have properly aligned teeth.ProsNicely packagedEasy to useConsSeveral blades arrived with bent teeth (they can be used, but the holes cut are slightly ovoid not round.)Given some blades arrived with bent teeth I suspect the quality of the steel is very poor and and other teeth with bend/blunt easily in use even on softwood. If you are in the market for a set of hole cutters I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

Good Value
I bought this mainly to cut a number of holes, in 3 sizes, though some block board. The saws cut this fine, as it is only softwood, but it is fairly slow going. I found I had to stop frequently to let the drill cool down (running as slow as I could the motor heated up rather quickly).I also found I had to stop more often than I would have expected to re-tighten the mandrill locking nut and the grub screw holding in the pilot drill.Cutting depth is given as 25mm but not sure I would want to cut that deep on softwood. For infrequent use (ie most DIY use) this does a good job and I am sure for softer material, like plaster board, it would be much faster.Just a quick update - as the rate of cutting was so slow I tried sharpening one of the cutters. It was well worth doing as the blade now cuts much faster but, be warned, the cutter is now much more likely to grab, unless you are very careful. and could snatch the drill out of you hands.

Fantastic on OSB board
I've only used the 44mm cutter so far but have been very impressed with the results. I needed to drill out over 80 holes for my project but my review comes with a few words of caution. I was drilling through 18mm OSB board and the cutter gets very hot. 18mm is about it's limit. The main down side to these cutters is the circular piece of wood remains stuck in the cutter leaving you with two options. 1. Take it apart after every hole and knock the piece of wood out. I did this for about 40+ holes and was a pain but the faffing around does give the cutter time to cool down. 2. Drill a long screw into the trapped piece of wood and simply pull it out. This leaves everything intact. Wish I'd have done this from the start. I got there in the end but this is not ideal for multiple holes. It probably took me two days to do the hole cutting I needed which is not great. If I had to do it again I would buy a FISH 031704200 Forstner Drill Bit SP Wave Cutter Shaft 10 mm Drill Bit 42 mm. This would have done the job easily as it clears the debris out of the hole as you are cutting. Overall I was still very pleased with the results from these cutters and they are perfect if only needing to drill a few holes.
