The Shaman's Guide to Power Animals

This is a lovely book to have on your shelf. I don’t find it as in depth or as helpful as Animal Speak by Ted Andrews but it’s a great accompaniment to cross reference. It has some nice illustrations.

This is a great addition to a library and a good alternative to other books. It is very descriptive and give a lovely background on Shamanic intention for each animal. I would have liked a bit longer introduction on Shamanism, but to be fair, this is full of many animals and that is why I bought it. It is A4 sized pages.

This is most definitely not a shamans’ guide. I bought this to compare my shamanic wisdom of the animals to this book also hoping to learn something. The set out is lovely, but the information about the animals has not been channeled, instead it has been studied. This is a book of animal psychology being applied to human consciousness using 3/4 dimensional thought processing, not shamanic wisdom. I straight away went to the fox because that is in my opinion the gate keeper of shamanic wisdom. It’s very inaccurate. The fox itself is about oneness, camouflage, innocence and speed. The fox sits and guards the source pool of creation itself. It is the gateway to animal shamanism. So for that reason I would not recommend this book to anyone who works shamnically.

There is a wealth of information on how Power Animals are used by a shaman and how I can work with these amazing animal spirit guides. The information seems genuine and different then other books, internet sites, etc. I have frequented. Well thought out, easy structure a good guide with concise and clear messages. I am passionate about Power Animals, very pleased I found this book. A new tool and go to for my spirit animal guidance.

I love it, a prized possession, is very ellaborate. Though i wish more spirit animals were there or something like a part 2

I love this book, beautiful illustrations and many animals of all over the world. Just, a bit too much New Age. No need of information of crystals or so on, so on. At last, it seems cheap New Age book.

This is the best animal guide book -ever. Absolutely my favorite. Insights from many different cultures. Well designed and beautifully presented.
