This is a wonderful soprano ukulele. It has a beautiful tone, stayed in tune quite well, nice action. Kind of cute too. I have a soprano ukulele that cost over twice as much that doesn't sound this good. The extras like strap buttons, a strap, a tuner, embroidered gig bag are icing on the cake! I would recommend this ukulele to anyone. ( I own 5 ukuleles, all sizes except baritone).

The instrument itself is wonderful and plays really nicely, but I wish the gig bag was roomier as I can't fit any of the accessories in it.

It came in nicely packed and the quality sounded great! My 18 year old daughter loves it :) great size for a beginner! The wood looks nice too. Overall, my daughter is happy with her purchase!

Wow! What a deal. Now I'm not a musician but at $30 (on sale Cyber Monday) I decided to get this. When I opened it I was so impressed. The wood looks really nice to me and it feels really nice to hold AND accessories alone would have made this price a deal.So far I am happy--- but I will try to update if that changes.UPDATE: 1/7/18I ordered a Kala since then.. The tone is deeper with the Kala--- but I say they are VERY comparable quality & this one is actually easier on my fingers to play. I still can't believe I got it AND all the accessories for $27. What a steal. I wish I had ordered more. Now it's unavailable... sad. The bag was so nice. the KALA bag was sad indeed compared to this one & another uke I ordered that was pink... the bag was abysmal

If you're thinking of taking up the ukulele, or buying one as a present, this is a decent instrument with all the accessories you might want at an attractive price. The ukulele itself has a pleasant tone, is easy to play, and the intonation is spot-on, which means it'll play in tune as you move up the neck. A lot of budget instruments have a problem there. The top appears to be made of solid wood- unusual at this price level. It's strung with Nylgut strings, a nice plus, and there's a complete spare set of Nylguts as well. You also get a neck strap, a tuner, a polishing/cleaning cloth, a pick of the proper thickness, and an attractively embroidered bag to keep everything in. Add a copy of one of Jumpin' Jim's ukulele songbooks and you're good to go. (I received a free sample instrument for review, but so far as I can tell it wasn't specially selected in any way and showed no sign of being previously played.)
