Apparently the only replacement for Triton boats
Update: Since ordering a second replacement, it has help up very well. I initially costed the O ring with silicone to help glide on/off & also acts a water barrier. So far so good...no complaints. Original post: There doesn't appear to be other options for Triton boats. I replaced the factory drain plug with this recommended from Triton customer service. You have to replace the entire assembly because the threads are larger. The tab on the plug broke off after a few weeks of use, Perhaps I've used too much pressure on tightening but you'd think the tab would be stronger material (than think plastic).

Great replacement for my old plug
This was almost and exact match to the original boat plug in my ‘02 procraft. It does seem to want to cross threat at times but I always make sure it seats correctly before tightening down, takes an extra 2 seconds. Really like the rubber O ring, makes a great seal. I also packed the edges with marine goop before tightening down, no leaks

This was an easy install on my Nitro. Don't forget your marine sealant, and it'll mount right up.

Product showed up about 4 days late but amazon gave me a 5dollar gift card for the extra wait. I saw on other reviews that people received the fine thread plugs which I was hoping for since my boat had a fine thread already but I got the one in the picture which was fine just swapped it out and added some goop doesn’t come with any hardware but mine from my boat lined up no problems!

Arrived in the mail today. As always great Amazon. Plug seems to be O,K,, basically standard plug found on numerous bass boats, Will do the job.
