Great product
We use it now over our large fry pans to keep splattering off of stove. You can see what is happening in the pan and it can still vent.

Very nice, but fruit flies get in
Very nice, well made, attractive However, we bought this specifically to protect fruit bowls from fruit flies and it doesn't achieve this function.Returning it today

Does the job
I can't vouch for the longevity of the material - only time will tell if it actually stainless. The holding ring is cheap plastic that may not stand the test of time. The item got slightly misshapen during shipping but I was able to press out the kinks.

Plastic ring on top, not metal.
WARNING if you buy this to use in your air fryer oven as a splatter guard that top ring that looks like metal is plastic. I didnt pay attention & put my already cooked ribs in there & came back to check and the plastic had melted & was on fire on on top of my meat Cut that plastic ring off. I cut it off my meat & put it back in. Not sure if its ruined till its cool enough to taste. Works as expected without the plastic.
