Drontal Broad Spectrum Dewormer, 50 Tablets

When I adopted my cat, I was told he was 100% healthy and good to go. Exactly 1 week of having him he started bleeding from his eyes and nose, and throwing up WORMS (big ones too) I took him to the vet to find he was FIV+, had Giardia, worms, and other things I can’t remember. He ended up being on about 7 different medications and eventually got all better, with the exception of the worms. No matter what the vet gave him the worms wouldn’t go away. After giving him this drontal, NO MORE WORMS!!! After all that time this finally made my baby healthy again. 10/10 recommend the pice IS WORTH IT. 🐈‍⬛

I got this for my cat, she was a stray and got worms. At first I was appalled and wasn't sure what those white spots on her tail were, thought it was litter clinging onto her. Even though my cat is a house cat and doesn't go outside, but we do and have a lawn next to our house.... fleas from strays, dogs etc would be near the grass and they would transfer to us by clinging to our clothing as we walk inside the house. I got my cat some flea medication to rid of those suckers and gave her this medication. Which helped immensely! I did not have access to an immediate appointment at the vet and the wait was for a month away. I can't wait for an entire month, so I bought this. The effect seem to work immediately. I make sure to discard the litter each day as well in case the fleas or worms die in the litterbox. And sanitize the litter box everyday as well as quarantine my cat until she seems recovered.

Having raised purebred cats for over 20 years this is such a great product to be able to keep on hand and not have to ask our vet for (at a markup). With all of our kittens as far as deworming goes we first give them a dose of fenbendazole @ 3 weeks old. Then: 1st dose of Drontal at 4 weeks, 2nd dose of Drontal at 8 weeks, 3rd dose of Drontal at 12 wks. According to their weight of course, you need to be precise and very accurate in dosing. We use this protocol regardless of any fecal results, preventative, treatment, etc... Parasites are non existent and have never been an issue for us with any of our kittens/litters. its pricey but it works. we have 6 cats and one is close to 20lbs so in the long run its more affordable to get the big bottle than buy 3 packs of the small ones. plus, this one gets ALL the worms. our obese cat had pin worms the small packs werent killing them off. his poop looks so much better after treatment. our smaller cats seem to be clear of it but he might need another round. also keep in mind that fat cats need TWO tablets.

I had to hide it in a catnip soft chew capsule. And that worked the first few times, but my cat figured out real fast that anything smelling like that equals immediate diarrhea and now she will not touch it no matter what I wrap it up in. They need to find a way to make it taste better. I’m not the type of pet owner who is comfortable shoving pills down my pets throat.
