NeotechSlimline Strap, Acoustic End Pin Jack, Reg, Black Webbing Banjo (8201562)

I saw the other reviews that said it was too long, but the vendor replied "you must have ordered our large version". I did not make that mistake. But the normal sized one is much, much too long. At it's tightest setting, it is too long. Basically a normal guitar strap with these long loops sewn on the ends. The loops add too much length to overcome. Unless you are an enormous size, it's too long.

I ordered the regular version of this strap. I'm six feet tall. At the shortest possible setting, the banjo is about 8" too low. Wish I had realized this before the return window was still open.The most likely response to this review will probably be "you ordered the long one by mistake". Wrong. Here is the description of the product I ordered: "Neotech 0-String Banjo Black Leather Regular 8221562".The strap itself is fine. If you get one that is the right length, it works really well. Judging by the other reviews, prepare yourself for one or two returns before you get the right size though.

Just what I wanted. I already use a Neotech super strap on my banjo and am very pleased with its comfort and its non-metal, easy-on, easy-off attachment system.However, for public performances I wanted a more slim and stylish look. This does the trick and snaps right into the Neotech attachments already on my Banjo making it simple to switch between the two.This version is not as elastic as the super strap and does not “take the weight off” as much, but the upside is that it fits along the collar better when I am wearing a thick jacket or a few layers of clothing.I bought the webbing version and I’m a little disappointed that it contains some leather components . I would have preferred a “Completely Cow parts free” version. Ifthe company comes out with one, I will buy that also.By the way, I bought the “regular” size. I’m 6 foot tall and average weight and it fits fine with plenty of room for adjustment.

Banjos are hard to hold. Whoever designed them was not an ergonomist.I have watched players hold their banjos in their nether regions while playing, and I reckon that's OK if you have that kind of relationship with your instrument. But, as a beginner, I think not.I found, with this strap, I can shorten up enough to get the banjo on the correct position and the width and the padding on the strap make it quite comfortable.

I bought two of these straps and they fit well on the banjos, one open back, one with a resonator.Complaints about being too long are probably because the complainers inadvertently ordered the "long"versions which are sold on the same websites, so pay attention to the product descriptions. Mine are "regular"size and are easily adjusted longer or shorter to meet the individual needs of players. Nice straps, but I wouldlike more color options, like dark blue, dark green, maroons, etc. at the same price. I'd have bought the black leatherbut the price was higher for no good reason I could see and part of me rebelled. I'd recommend the leather straps to anyone.

Like many of the other reviews, I am 5' 9", but it is too long. Too bad, they need to make the end locking straps shorter. It will be going back for a refund.

This is a well made strap with a leather pad that softens the weight of my banjo. Length adjustment is easy and once set it stays there. This is the second one I purchased to make it easy to change instruments from the banjo to my electric bass.

This is an amazing Banjo strap (or could be used for other instruments as well). The high-tech memory foam makes it very comfortable - even with our very heavy banjo. The connection pieces are simply fabulous!! Wish every strap that I had for other instruments was the same. Ingenious! It makes it so simple - even when switching instruments between performers like we often do. Thanks for a great product - we have told others about it as well!
