Acadia National Park Waterproof Trail Map, Maine Map – June 1, 2019

Bought this to be used in conjunction with the Falcon Guide to Acadia NP and it did not disappoint. Waterproof and tear resistant(the folds did start to show signs of potential tears by end of week with heavy use), this map was well worth the money. Easy to read and understand it was a great contribution and companion to the guide. The guide provided more info on how to get to the trailhead as well as distance and interesting info about the hikes. The map added great visual info such as grades and distances along with topographical information. Thank you , be safe, have fun.

We purchased this map for our recent trip to Acadia National Park and it proved to be a very valuable and much used resource. It's waterproof, durable, and shows all the park trails and carraige roads in detail. In fact, on one of our hikes we ran across a park ranger that was trying to help a couple that was somewhat turned around on their trail and guess what map she pulled out - yes this exact same map. She then advised them that they might want to purchase this map as their hiking reference. I guess if this map is good enough for the park rangers, that's a pretty high endorsement.

The BEST!!! This is THE MAP you want of the park. This is the one they sell at the visitor center as the official map. You’ll need it for sure - don’t rely on AllTrails or anything that requires a cell signal, because you won’t have reliable coverage. Those app maps also are not accurate - this old school paper map is the one you need :)

We have been hiking in Acadia for three days. We must have opened this map 100 times. All the different routes, roads and hiking trails are all laid out in front of us, much more clearly visible than reading a map on my phone, so it's super easy to judge where everything is in relation to everything else. And because it's treated to make it waterproof, it doesn't tear. I am so glad I bought it. We use it in conjunction with the National Parks app.

I have done 2 trips to Acadia using this map. It is excellent for finding and staying on trails for hiking. I love the fact that it is waterproof and made of a high quality material. Definitely a must have for hiking in Acadia.

I can why everyone says this is the hands down best map for hiking and biking in Acadia. Hence I was surprised and disappointed to find out the Schoodic peninsula part of ANP is nowhere to be found on the maps. I ended up having to buy the National Geographic map as well because of this. Comparing the two, this map has more granular detail and is easier to read. It’s ashamed that there is such a glaring omission in an otherwise five star map.

We are going to Acadia NP next month and will be doing some hiking. Although we may not need to use it, this map will be considered cheap insurance in case we get turned around. The map is well marked and is of great quality.

I went on a girls trip to Acadia, and this map was so helpful when we were planning out what trails we wanted to take. Also when we were in the middle of a hike, it was useful in knowing where we were in relation to our end point.
