National Geographic Readers: Sharks! (Science Reader Level 2)

This is a decent little paperback full of excellent facts and trivia for any shark lover. Kids will definitely love this book.

My 2 year old LOVES this entire series of Nat. Geo Readers... I have purchased about 25 different titles, "pre-readers" as well as Level 1 & 2 readers. She loves them all & will ask for certain ones. The "pre-readers" level books are extremely simple & great because she memorizes the words & can "read" it herself. We love the more advanced ones too, because there is more information to talk about. I have learned quite a few facts, myself!) What a great series. The price is reasonable & pictures are great. These are really getting her interested in nature, animals & science... I will continue to buy these as they are released, for our collection!

My 1st grader loves these books. He is able to read them easily himself. He loves looking at the pictures and reading facts about the different animals.

Book contained pictures of the many different kinds of sharks found in the oceans. Great learning book for 4 to 7 yr Olds.

I’ve bought many of these National Geographic books for my 3 year old. They have reading age group suggestions but my daughter loves them all for the photos regardless!

My five year old absolutely loves this book, he didn’t put it down for two whole days after he received it. We read it to him once and he remembered every shark he learned about

Wonderful nonfiction book about sharks. Full on fun facts about sharks. My son enjoyed the read, and so did I. It is interspersed with jokes and colorful pictures and this makes the book more enjoyable! Some of They could've left out the part about, being happy that a certain shark was extinct. My child was a bit offended by that. Other than that, the ending does encourage coexistence with this often feared and misunderstood sea creature.

My almost 3-year old son loves these books. I love that they are cheap, they have great pictures, and are full of facts that he has learned. He is a sponge, and soaks up every animal fact he can find. It's pretty amazing when your toddler informs his daycare teacher that "sharks don't have bones, they have cartilage!" We are buying all of the Pre-Reader, Level 1, and Level 2 books we can find. (Word to the wise: if your kid isn't reading yet, the Level 3's of this series are a bit much to read to a toddler. Still great photos and facts, but a bit long for Mommy to read for a before-bed-book.)

My 8 year old son loves this book. It's full with little shark facts that he can read about on his own.

I was expecting better pics and description for my 6yr old. Totally disappointed. Next time, I'll think twice before purchasing.
