What's more, they assured me that I don't have to worry about returning the original shaver or covering any shipping fees. This level of customer care has solidified my loyalty to Mangroomer. I have had back hair ever since my voice dropped. I've always hated it. Always been self-conscious about it. And never had the tools to do something about it. That anxiety started, oh, about 23 years ago now.Today, for the first time in my whole life, I shaved my own back. I didn't cut myself. It didn't hurt. I did it comfortably from the privacy of my own bathroom.So, if you're a man-ape like me: YES. It works exactly as described. You can get every single hair off of your back and it looks great.But the con: the plastic is obviously very thin and brittle. This is not the sturdy blast-proof plastic on Wahl trimmers or something. I feel like, perhaps, a few dollar store knockoff GI Joes I had as a kid were made of better stuff. The "platinum" is definitely not in the polymer they chose for the device...Anyways, look: you're probably looking at this because your back is a fuzzball and you're tired of looking at it, or asking the SO in your life, or getting flayed alive at the waxer. Yes. This works. Buy it. Maybe don't expect it to last forever. Or do, whatever. I'm not your mother.

This product is completely ineffective for removing hair. This is the second one I purchased. I returned the first one. I thought maybe I just received a defective item when I purchased it. Much to my disappointment the secondone is just as bad as the first. I paid around $75.00 for this and its not worth a penny. It barely removes hair even at the highest setting. I would look for a different brand other than Mangroomer. It is cheaply made overpriced piece of crap.

The extended shaver works great. It does take practice. Using the wider attachment is a little hard on my skin, once I got used to it. It worked great. I would give it a 4 STAR. I did purchase three other items at the same time. The head shaver, the ear & nose trimmer, and the body groomer. The body groomer works good But it did pull a few hairs. So it too, requires practice. I would give it a 4 STAR. The nose and ear trimmer SUCKS ASS!!! Don’t buy.For that trimmer, don’t waste your energy buying it. It will disappoint. I would not give a 1 STAR. Later on I purchased some Bluetooth Wi-Fi smart tweezers, they work great with my cell phone for my nose and ear hairs, I can’t see.Next the body trimmer it works great while giving a good shave real close to your balls. Most of all it takes practice. So take your time. An electric shaver near my balls is kind of scary. Especially when it pulls a hair or two and it did. I would give the body trimmer a 4 STAR.Now for the complaints, you already know how I feel about the nose trimmer. Next The head shaver I used it once, Then it died and never worked again and that sucks because I liked it. I would give it a 4.5 STAR. But It quit working so a 1 STAR, unless you have a head trimmer that keeps working then it’s a 4.5 STAR.Well, I hope the company MANGROOMER. Takes care of me on their platinum pro edition’s. If not I’ll never change this post. But I was told that if you have a problem, man-groomer wants you to contact them directly. So they can take care of it for you. I don’t know. I will give it a try. I only ask because I am over my return time with Amazon. Like I was only going to use the head shaver twice a year. But after the first time I used it, it died. After allI bought the Platinum Pro Edition by Man-Groomer shaver and trimmers. So I expected it to work as advertised it was the best they had.I will post a new statement if they take care of me as a loyal customer. Thank you. Good luck.

This product performs admirably and, is easy to use. The extension arm facilitates getting all of your back without much difficulty. The battery life allows one to do a thorough job. I hate having back hair, (it's not a pretty look) I also have a bald head and having lots back hair just looks awful.

I appreciated their urgency with a rapid response and the resolution to my concern.[Original review - 2 stars]Stopped working 1 yr & 7m after purchase-I had the highest hopes for this product & reviewed it diligently before purchase. While I didn't like the quality, I stuck with it because it did the job. Last week the unit didn't start even after letting it sit until fully charged. The battery makes knocking sounds when shake the unit so assume it's dislodged or something else. Either way, I'm not going to make another job for myself and field strip it to determine the issue. I'm in the process of contacting the company since it's still 2 years within purchase.
