What Do We Say?: A Guide to Islamic Manners

It now looks like the boy is running away from a boulder
Loooooooooove this book, as does my 4 year old. However, I had an issue with the last page where there is a dog chasing a boy and it reads " what do we say when we are frightened?" I would rather not teach my child to fear dogs. I simply drew a big circle with a permanent marker and filled it in. It now looks like the boy is running away from a boulder.

This book is good for little kids who are learning to say stuff ...
This book is good for little kids who are learning to say stuff like alhamdulillah when sneezing etc. The book has mostly pictures with little text so is more for toddlers and therefore would have been better as a board book

Very Nice!!!!
I think this is a very nice book. My 2 yr loves to pretend to sneeze just so we can say Alhamdulillah, says Bismillah before eating, with that being said, I saw this book and thought it would be perfect to teach him more phases as well as when to use them. It's also a nice reference for my parents (who are not Muslims), to use when talking with my children.

But this book helps them announciate better by reading the letters
Alhumdulilah my children already know what to say. But this book helps them announciate better by reading the letters. I recommend if your child is a new reader or new to islamic manners.

Translation
Author should take time to translate it accordingly. More kids are trying to learn how to read Arabic and understand it. Authors should take time out to elaborately explain these duties for posterity and a better grasp of our spiritual language,it's a good effort though that should be commended but there's room for an upgrade of the intentions of the book. Regards.

Really useful for learning etiquette and very easy to understand
I bought this book for my prek kids at preschool but I could use it for prek3 and sometimes 2's as well. It is very easy to understand and pictures make it even more easy to understand and visualize the islamic etiquette. My kids love it and never get tired to listen to this book.

Basic manners
This book is good for kids under 5 if parents read for them. But my kids are 5+ and they still enjoy reading by themselves and just re-iterate the basic islamic manners.

great book
just great....my 2 and 3yo enjoyed it and loved it when i prompted them for wht should be said, the images were also good - enough detail to get questions from the little ones but not overwhelming for them...the book is fantastic at their age as its a simple introduction - would be great if you could do a follow on book with duas for entering masjid/toilet/car, etc....loved the explanation at the back as well. will be looking out for more books from these writers

Usually we make a play of the illustrations as shown in the book and so far my nephews love it.
I bought this book for my younger twin nephews to get them to know the very basics such as greeting someone and how to say it. Usually we make a play of the illustrations as shown in the book and so far my nephews love it.
