This is the perfect addition to my husband’s office collection. It is exactly as described but better in person. Depending on the delivery, you may need to let some settling happen before it’s beauty can be fully appreciated. We gave it a few minutes so some bubbles could pop, then it was perfect. (It is winter here now so perhaps the cold had something to do with it?) Our entire family gathered to watch and take turns flipping it over once the “Star Dust” settled each time. We got the silver/gray/sparkle and it really looks like it was scooped from space and placed in this frame. Worth every cent, it’s by far everyone’s favorite decorative piece in my husband’s office.

Exactly what I was looking for! As so many others have mentioned, I had one when I was much younger and I loved it! I've been keeping an eye out for them to come on the market again and I'm so pleased to have found this one! It's gorgeous - the gold glitter is lovely and catches the light, and it's just enough to be bling but not overwhelming, making it perfect for my office. It's truly endless art - would definitely buy again and definitely recommend!

Absolutely stunning! If it doesn’t seem to work at first- just shake it a little to break up the air bubbles- then let it settle and try again..I love watching the sand slowly fall and all of the different landscapes it makes. It’s about 8-10 minutes of just calm and beauty. Very soothing.

I have used these before that will last for 30 mins. These things are designed to have no air bubbles but this one does and lasts for a minute or two. Only good for sitting but doesn't function has it supposed to do.

I got this for our coffee table and my husband and I have played around with it a lot. When set portrait style, the bubbles will hold the sand up and just let it dribble down to make mountains. I got the Black, white and gold version and it is really beautiful. The stand is in two pieces, so I glued them to a piece of glass for stability. Important: Because it is made of glass, it is not a suitable gift for a child, but grown-ups can have a lot of fun with it.

Likes - Heavy and seems to be quality made. Packaged very well in attractive box suitable for gifting. Sand flows well in mine... sometimes very slowly but does not get stuck in the top of the frame. Therapeutic to watch.Dislikes - Made of glass making it fragile. The stand is only 2 very light plastic legs. The weight of the frame makes it top heavy. Probably not a good idea for young children due to likelihood of breakage.

Me, my husband and my two sons love this! Initially, I did a lot of comparison shopping and bought a cheaper one from a different company, but none of us play with it because it isn't as entertaining or as nice to look as this one. I got the gold one...it is high quality and worth the price. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to purchase one of the other colors!

It makes a new picture every time you move it. Very nice moving sand toy, good blend of white to grey and gold mixed in for nice contract. Good size for most desk tops. I do wish the 2 little plastic feet were more stable, but you can slip it easily into a picture stand type.
