This is a great ramp, it fits very nicely in the water on the edge of the pool, and my dogs mastered it on the 1st try. It is very sturdy and nice looking. When the dogs climb it, there is not movement and no feet slipping. I did have one issue where the top board and the lower board started coming apart, which I was concerned about. I emailed the seller, and within an hour, I had a FedEx notification, and an Amazon reply stating there were a few with a problem, and a replacement was being sent out. The new one is exactly like the old one but without the separation problem. It is a wonderful dog ramp!

This ramp appears to be sturdy and highly visible. Puppy in training was able to get out of pool. The ramp was very well packaged and instruction easy to understand. I took off one star as the material on the ramp was slightly torn. I will have to reinforce so it doesn’t continue to deteriorate. Overall it will be just an added layer of protection for all critters that fall in the pool.

This product is excellent. We have a 17lb dog. Took just one session for him to get comfortable using it to get into and out of the pool safely. Expensive but we'll designed and constructed. Minor recommendation with packing. Make sure the abrasive surfaces don't touch and rub during shipping.

Really a good design but for what you pay the steps that go under water fade immediately so are less noticable for exit. Weighted bag seams start to split in corners a bit after sitting out in sun. So a little pricey for how it holds up...but worth the safety.

Originally, I loved this product. Used it one summer - last summer. Got it out of storage, put it in this pool this year, and the black "rubber" strip which sits on the edge completely ripped. It does not appear there is anyway to repair it. The ramp is a great idea, it worked great for my 17 pound dog, but not worth the money. It should have lasted more than one season with proper storage. Very disappointed.

We got this for our 60 pound boxer, who loves the water. She dives off the ramp and climbs back out whenever she wants to cool off. It was supposed to be for emergencies, but she uses it or the steps at the other end of the pool. Initially, the ramp was to short for her. She couldn’t get her back legs up onto it. But the mfr sent us an extension, and she has learned how to use it. When she dives, she really jumps hard. The ramp takes that with no problem. Also, it’s in our vinyl liner Pool and is not damaging anything. It is a bit narrow, but it’s supposed to be portable. Our dog has learned to use it after a few tries.

My dog pool ramp arrived a week or two ago. Not wanting to be the victim of defects mentioned in other reviews, I immediately used a heavy-duty silicone waterproofing spray to all of the fabric portions of the unit. We’ll see what happens.And because my pool is a molded stone style I painted the white PVC legs black so they won’t be such an eyesore.Overall I think the construction and engineering is solid. I think it was the best of all product designs I evaluated while shopping.Now we’ll put it all to the rest and see what happens next. I’ll post an update when appropriate.
