I think it is fair to say there are a great many options on Amazon when it comes to guitar accessories, i am however confident that i made the right choice given what was delivered the following day (qualifies for prime delivery...nice!). The tool provides the three key actions i need for my guitar string replacement activities.........winding, string cutting and the removal of the tricky acoustic guitar bridge peg!..........Having used it on my Taylor Acoustic on arrival, i am pleased to say it made my life a damn sight easier and faster...all minus the hand cramp!!.....The Strat is due a 'tune-up' next week and suspect I will benefit admirably using this on the electric as well. However it doesn't end there!........What clinched the deal for me was the added extras!....You get five quality free plectrums in a funky blue pearlescent finish (possibly 0.8mm or thereabouts) and a handy storage pouch, which works very well for me to store my picks, string tool, capo and cable ties etc, such that i am not clambering about my bag looking for said items at rehearsals and gigs. All in all i am most pleased! P.s. Who can't resist imprinted accessories with such a suitably whacky name as 'Chickenburger Guitars'!

It does the job cuts nice and clean plecs are okish but not for me I prefer my fingers overall not bad for the money

A well priced must have tool for stringed instrument owners & players (mainly the varying makes & models of the guitar I’m assuming) It's a string winder, a peg puller & a string cutter in one, it comes with a few picks/plectrums & a small carry pouch at a very fair price. I can honestly say after using this to cut guitar & bass strings with such ease I can't imagine life without it now as well let's just say in the past over two decades of trying multiple varying pretty useless ways of removing guitar strings by cutting with scissors, pliers a saw blade & even nail cutters well you can guess has been nothing but pure hassle for me & they usually end up getting wound down & pulled off after the failed attempts at cutting them off whereas now they’re just off, ‘Simple But Effective” things hey!

The string cutting element is useless. There’s too much of a gap between the blades to be effective at cutting. It’s a flimsy design. The only parts that work ok are the winding mechanism and the peg tool for popping acoustic guitar string pegs out. If you don’t need string cutters I guess it’s fine.

A very handy little tool for cutting strings and restringing my Banjoleles and Ukulele. Definitely saves time.

Honestly didn’t even realise it was a proper set. I just wanted a guitar string cutter, and this was one of the cheapest there. So when it came in a little bag, and has spare picks too, I was more than delighted. And it was able to cut through my 46 gauge string with ease. I can’t tell you how much higher it’ll go but if you have less or the same, you’ll be absolutely fine
