Works great with Nikon SMZ-1
This works great with a Nikon SMZ-1 on a boom stand. It gives plenty of room to do circuit board rework and soldering, and I can easily see small components. The working distance is about 6 to 7 inches measuring from the bottom of the reducer.I was also surprised it was made of all metal, I was expecting plastic construction.

Fit my generic stereo zoom microscope
Added this lens to the bottom of my generic stereo zoom microscope in order to double the working distance between the microscope head and the in-focus object. Worked perfectly.

Doubles working distance but measure carefully!
It does seem that there are several different diameters even from the same manufacturer. 47, 48, 49, 50mm...so measure your microscope carefully before ordering!

Really improves field of view. It doesn't color or distort image. Crystal clear results.Protects main lenses. Screws right on to the base of my Vision Scientific VS-5F trinocular microscope.Happy with performance & purchase!
