This makes the best chicken. I have not had any problems with it. It gets up to temp and stays there although I think it is better if you have a lid or something. I cover the pot with foil.

Works great so far, but have only used twice. Heats the water very quickly and holds a steady temperature.

Works great for meat that was on tough side.

It’s possible it is operator error since the instructions are completely inadequate, but it’s pretty basic (I chose this one for the simplicity. ). But it did not regulate the temperature at all and just continued to heat the water until shutting itself off at 197F. I set the temperature and timer as described. The timer kept re-setting and the temperature kept climbing (quickly-it is powerful. ). This was right out of the box the first time. I tried multiple times to convince myself I wasn’t messing up. One way or the other it does not work and I’m returning it. Seems like all these machines have their issues with cheap electronics.

This device worked fine for about nine months though we only used it for five times. Now it doesn't work at all. The instructions are terrible. I would not buy from this company again.
