These nippers are wonderful. Stay sharp and are much easier to use than others. Handy pouch is extremely well made. Nothing “ chookie” about this tool…..Worth every penny….. this set is my 3rd 😱. At our camp, in truck and around house.

I hide this SO THAT it is always ready for my use. I let the wife use cheaper (gut-bucket) shears because she cuts and twists messing up the shears. This cut straight through and one need not twist the shears because they cut through without leaving residual material that needs pulling and twisting. I like the leather sheath and the magnetic attachment. I hang this on the far side of my toolbox, out of sight from the eyes of my impetuous wife who will grab at any tool and over-power them in usage requiring me to fix or replace.JUST SAYING, these shears will last a long time in the hands of a gardener versus just a person full of prunes!

I was pretty underwhelmed for the price. I have an orchard of 150 trees and have been using a different brand for a few years. I went with felco as I wanted another set for my wife. Anyway I really dislike the width of the bottom cutter. It causes you to have to constantly flip the pruners depending on what side or the tree or branch you are cutting. If not you get nowhere near close to a flush cut. Also, the pruners stick so when you close them the do not snap back open. I am guessing there is an adjustment, but for the price you would have thought they had been tuned to work perfectly. I was also surprised that they did not hold an edge any longer than my cheaper pair. When it comes to sharpening the shape makes it harder to sharpen the full top blade. I almost need to take it apart to get a nice even pass on that blade.I know I am just one voice, but I don't get the hype. I will not be buying these again.
